Ok, this isn't exactly a Disney topic...but if it helps any I do wear my rings in the parks -;)

I have several rings with various stones in them and they are constantly migrating around my finger so that the front of the ring faces my palm! I once saw a little metal do-dad that looked like a small bar and helped secure the band...anyone know what I'm talking about and have a link???

Thanks

Best thing you can do is go to a trusted jeweler and ask them to either fit the ring tighter or ask them for a reliable "tightener".

You have to be careful with the things that you place on the ring to keep it from spining. So going thru your jeweler will be the best bet.

I wear very loose rings, I like the movement on my finger. Helps me to always know it is there. If it isn't moving I don't have it on...therefore I am oblivious to it and if it goes missing.
But if you don't like your rings to spin you may want to resize it.

You can use a ring guard. Since the body swells and deswells at will they have these nifty things that are made in different materials that help so your ring doesnt fly off into the air. You can get them at Walmart, Amazon, Target. Also some jewelers sell them if you choose not to get your rings resized. Some ring guards are plastic some are metal coated in 14 or 10 k.

Thank you both.

I don't want to get the rings resized as they fit snugly over my knuckles...I can shake my hand vigorously and they won't fly off...but they do spin.

Tanbellisima: That's exactly what I was picturing...

I get sizing balls put on my rings to keep them from spinning. I bring them to the jeweler who places a small amount of melted metal on the inside of the band and forms it into a small ball. Works beautifully!

You are so welcome. I know back in the day the women use to have a smaller band to wear in front of the loose ring to keep things "in place" as my grandma use to say. Merry Christmas!

Yeah I actually have this exactly. We rent and made sure to include my rings in the renters insurance. So they're protected even if you're wearing them outside your house or apartment obviously. You can get more info at http://www.rentersinsurance.org if you want - in the articles section. Hope that helps!

I encountered the same problem after I had my son. I didn't want to get my ring sized up because it spins now. I chose to just force it over my knuckle so that I didn't have to deal with it spinning anymore. Occassionaly, I need soap to get it off, but I hate when it spins!
