Keeping groceries cold before check-in?

Can the resorts do this? We are staying at AKL. I found a reference from 2014 that said yes, but I thought I'd make sure.

We're visiting a relative for a few days before our resort stay, and then she is driving us down to Disney a few days later. I just found out that she may need to drop us off at the resort earlier in the day than I expected (before check-in time.)

Yes, as long as you are checking in that day, bell services can hold your luggage and cold groceries/groceries in general.

As far as i’m aware disney resorts (including swan and dolphin) do not refrigerate your groceries, they just hold them on a luggage cart for you. The only way to make sure your items stay cold is to pack them in a cooler, which can be left on your luggage cart with your other luggage. I havent been in the luggage storage areas at other resorts, but i have been in the ones at the dolphin and the swan and they’re essentially a just big room with labeled luggage carts waiting to be taken to rooms when they become available.

I can't speak for the Swan or Dolphin but every Disney owned resort has large fridges and freezers to keep guests perishables cold before checking in and retrieving them.

Wrong. The Disney Resorts (IDK about Swan/Dolphin) will refrigerate/freeze your grocery items as needed while holding them (There are huge freezers/refrigerators in the back of the Bell Services Area for this.

I agree with the poster above me. Disney owned resorts (not Swan & Dolphin) have large refrigerators in the Bell Services room. The storeyour perishables in the freezer and refrigerator as needed
