Keeping etickets safe until first use.

What would you consider the best way to keep an eticket safe until you need to use it? I just received my etickets from GAT for our summer vacation. We won’t be using these tickets until July. Would you print them out? Keep them on your device? Scan them into the Disneyland app? I’m just wondering what the best option is.

If I lost my phone would someone be able to use those tickets or is my name attached and no one else could use them without me being there.

I’ve always received vouchers that we exchanged for tickets at the booths. I’m happy to now be using etickets, it’s just I bought them at the end of last year and we weren’t supposed to receive them till a week before our vacation, and now that we have them early, presumably because of the price increase, I’m wondering the best way to keep them safe. Five 5 day park hoppers with maxpass attached is a boatload of money!
Thanks!

I have always printed them and filed away in safe p and ave with other travel documents. When traveling I always print hardcopies as I don't trust electronics while on the road.

When I do etickets, I print them shortly before I go, as well as scanning them into the app. Then I put the printout in my travel purse just in case the app malfunctions.

I do it as soon as I receive the e-tickets. I used a lot of CM comp tickets so I’d save the email, add the ticket to the app, and then screenshots.

So do most of you do all this months ahead, or just prior to the trip?
My trip isn't until April 18th. I purchased my discounted tickets so that I would get the 5 day park hopper with Maxpass at the old discounted rate. I'm sure all the discounted prices will be going up soon. If you are planning to go this year I would purchase your tickets.

if for some reason you can't go the cost you paid can still be applied to tickets after the use by date.

I've already scanned mine into the app (not going until December). I just make sure to sign out of the app when I'm not using it, just in case my phone were to be lost or stolen. If that were to happen though, I'd just change my password from another device. I think they're safe enough in the app, although I do also print them just in case.

I download as pdf and upload to a google drive so they can be accessed from any phone/computer if needed. I usually don't scan them in DL app until they give us the new ones at the turnstyle so I have everyone's right names on theirs.

I always have a vacation box that i toss stuff in like my travel purse, lanyards, new sunblock ect... i print up my eticket/voucher, all dining reservation confirmations and put them in the box. Then when its time to pack all travel documents are right there and i just put them into my travel purse

I just got mine from UT on Tuesday. The UT ticket email is in my gmail account so I can access that easily enough, plus I saved the etickets as a .pdf (when you're in the file just click print and select "print to .pdf" instead of your usual printer and it saves it as a file rather than actually printing them). A copy of the .pdf is on my computer plus uploaded to Google drive (meaning I can access it anywhere). Once we are close to the trip I'll print out a physical copy and pack them for the trip. I'll also eventually get around to linking them to m Disneyland app.

FYI just thought I would add here that I was messaging with GAT customer support 2 days ago and added parkhoppers to my already purchased tickets for March (super easy btw) and they let me know to wait until a couple days before I leave to scan my tickets and add to the app. She said they’ve had some problems with the tickets “timing out” when people get to the gate the first time. So she said if you wait a bit longer, we leave on March 6th, it will alleviate a potential problem.

I‘ll also add that if you’re on the fence about getting parkhoppers they still gave me the 2019 price and it took no time at all to add and then they emailed my new tickets within a couple minutes. Now I don’t have to wait inline at the ticket booth to do it!

My tickets are from GAT too. It says on there not to scan into the app before receiving your paper ticket Because your eTicket number will be different then the number on your paper ticket from the turn styles.

They will automatically change in the app once you've gone through the turnstile :) Just did it like 2 weeks ago.
