I ordered our Park Hopper tickets online several months ago and was quite surprised that they were plastic credit card type tickets. I just assumed they didn't even make the paper ones any more :flower:
Could you tell us where you ordered them from?

My experience? We had more problems with the credit card types than the 'paper' ones. My dh had more issues with his hard pass. Had to get it reissued about 3 times on one trip. And dd had to get her's renewed on one trip. But, our Ap's have held up quite well...we're up to about 18 days in the parks now and they are still fine. Dh had one issue but it was a 'finger' issue. He just couldn't seem to grasp the whole 'keep it the same each time' concept!!!

For about $1 at WalMart, I bought a clear plastic holder - on a lanyard - with a zip lock top. It seems a good size for holding the whole family's passes.
I bought the exact same thing before our last trip. Didn't end up using it because I didn't think my aunt would want to wear it (and she's the one who always get the FP), but I showed it to her near the end of the trip and she thought it was a great idea.

We've been twice & only received the credit card types both times. The first time we went we booked thru a travel agent & received our tickets at the
resort & the second trip was booked thru disney (also got ultimate park hopper passes) & also got the passes (& room key all in one) as credit cards.
We never had a problem with them. We were there 9 days the 1st time & a
week the second time. I guess we were lucky!!! :earsgirl:

On our last trip a few weeks ago, I bought my first AP (we've always had park hoppers). Well that AP was nothing but trouble. :badpc: Everybody else breezed through with their Hoppers and I would always get pulled over to rescan. Had it replaced 3 times in 2 days. And I use a plastic sleeve, so it didn't get wet or magnetized. I'm going back in November and I already dread to think of the hassle. Why couldn't they just do something simple like one of those Mobil Smart Passes?

... And if something does happen, just walk over to the nearest ticket window and they'll issue you a new one.

Good to know! (happened to us at DisneyLAND) :earseek:

I LOVE Smilies :Pinkbounc (can you tell??)

Once our ticket was not working the fast pass and was told that if it was near a regular credit card it would screw up the card so now I keep my credit card away from the tickets. I also went to my bank last week and asked for the little pocket thing to keep your atm card in and she gave me a bunch. I am going to keep my tickets in that and my credit card in another. The only thing that is a pain if your ticket gets "deactivated" is if you are trying to get a fast pass. When you are all the way in the back of the park you dont want to go to the front of the park to get it reissued. I just received the paper ticket from ticketmania. when I go end of june I was going to go to the ticket counter and see if I can get them replaced with the credit card. I like them so much more.

We were ther last week and had problems with our tickets we had purchased from the Disney Store. They had trouble going through the gate machines and in the fast pass machines. One of the Cm told us they felt different than the other credit card type tickets, so we turned them in and got new paper tickets which worked fine. I was worried about damaging the tickets or loosing them, we found a fast pass holder at one of the stores on main street and it was perfect. It is a pouch on a clip with a zip line my husband kept all our tickets and the photo pass card in it all week with out any problems!

I recently ordered mine off the Disney World website and it's a credit card type one with Minnie ::MinnieMo on the front. It also has a place to sign on the back.
