Hello to all,
I am here in Texas and wanted to give a shout out to all my friends and family getting ready for Ike. Please be safe and I pray everyone comes out safe and unscathed. I have family in Galveston,Houston,Spring and Corpus and am very worried for them. I will be feeling effects but not as severe as my family so please say some prayers for them. Ike is becoming very dangerous and I am worried. They could not evacuate in time. Please keep me and them in your prayers.

I am okay as well as my family. Was pretty nasty. My neighborhood has major damage but we are all okay. I am sending this from my neighbors laptop so it will be short but sweet. We had about 85mph winds and alot of rain but no flooding. Alot of downed trees and some crushed cars but no one was injured. We were spared, no damage to our house. No power yet but I didnt expect to. Unfortunately for my friends/family in Galveston, they lost everything. But they have there lives which is most important.
Gotta go, dont want to use up his power. Thanks for all the pixies.

Hello everyone,
I am back to work today. One of the few Buildings that passed the inspection to return. Figures right.
I appreciate everyones concerns for me and my family. It means so much. We were very blessed that Ike spared our homes but others were not so fortunate. We did a drive through yesturday and it is quite disheartening what others have to deal with cleanup wise. We are still planning our trip and will help with the chaos when we get back. got to go see my happy place.
