Keep or Return?

On impulse last month I used a Joann's online 50% off coupon to order a Generations Scrap caddy/tote. Now, I have buyers remorse as I mostly scrap at home and dont travel to scrap....although I want to go to CKU Boston.

The shipping was $9.99 and it clearly will cost at least that much to ship back....so my foolishness will have cost me at least $20 to return....and if I go to CKU, I will have to buy one anyway....

Should I keep or return?

Well, since you will need one eventually anyway, I would keep it and then when you look at it, you can look forward and get excited about going to CKU!

Timon, I knew I liked you!!!! I think I agree, but just needed a little help in justifying a less than "necessary" purchase before the holidays! Especially when I am trying to convince Santa I need a Sizzix!

I know it stinks when we do that (I bought these punch letters through Joannes for $50 something - when I got them they were itsy bitsy things - and I have NEVER used them) but at $20 to ship them back why bother! lol

At least your purchase will come in handy one of these days! It was on sale and it is 'necessary'

Someday...you might decide you need to "travel" to crop...and you will be thrilled to have it.

If you want to use my twisted logic...you can think of it as spending $20 less than you did...since you would have to use that money to ship it back. See! Don't you feel better!

Another thought...you can always sell it someone else later. I sold my XXL to someone at a crop last night.

Well, I decided to keep it......I also looked at the receipt and it had been over 30 days and they will only give online credit! I am sure it will come in handy....and maybe motivate me to crop somewhere!
