Trying to decide whether to keep this ADR or let it go.

We'll be staying at BCV. We have an 8:00 ADR at 1900 PF. I figured we'd drive over and then be out of there by 9:30 or so. We could then our teenagers off at Blizzard Beach from about 10:30-2:30 and then we'd do something with the grandparents and the 6 year old. Then pick up the teenagers around 2:30, return to BCV and get ready for 6:40 ADRs at Yachtsman.

My question: is 1900 PF really worth it? would it be better to do an ADR at, say, Kouzzina or something like that, and then have them just catch the bus to Blizzard Beach?

We'll see Tigger and Pooh at Crystal Palace, so we're really only going for Mary Poppins, Alice and the Mad Hatter. While I've been really excited about this ADR, I'm half tempted to cancel it in favor of something more laid-back.

Thoughts?

For the 6 year old... yes it is worth the time and effort to make the reservation. Have you done Caracter dinning before? They always get so excited and you need to eat anyway- why not enjoy the Parkfare.

This has been our family's favorite breakfast for years. Mad hatter and Alice are great, and the food is amoung the best breakfast buffets in our opinion. The interaction with the Teens should be good too, our boys had a great time at any age!

Mad Hatter and Alice are in character; my family was completely amused. Don't cancel.

One of our favorite character breakfasts is at Cape May right at the BC. I would book there just for convience sake. Goofy, Minnie and Donald in Beach clothes.

I guess I should've disclosed that we're not in short supply for character meals. On our list of character meals are:

Chef Mickey
Cape May
Tusker House
1900 PF (Breakfast)
1900 PF (Dinner)
Crystal Palace
Akershus
Cinderella's Royal Table

As you can see, we're hitting the character meals hard. Both of my kids enjoy them (the 15 year old and the 6 year old) and we're taking dd's best friend for the first time and I want her to experience as much of Disney and the characters as possible, because I really don't think the girls will stop at the character meet and greets at the parks once they get there.

If y'all think that Alice and the Mad Hatter are worth the trip that morning, then I'll keep the ADR. I remember being really excited when i read about it but now it seems like a lower-key morning would be awesome.

KEEP!!!! this is a request for all future trips by my 30 year old fiance... the food is great and the characters are super fun. we LOVE the mad hatter! the service was wonderful as well--our waitress was really sweet. i liked the food a lot. it was served hot and it was plentiful!

Keep it for sure. Such a great place. The character interaction is great and the food is even greater!!

It is always a must do for us on all of our trips. We like to take a leisurely stroll around the resort after our meal and take in the beauty and elegance of the GF. It always holds special memories for me since that is where my DW and I spent our honeymoon back in 1991.

I would definitely keep it!

It was our favorite character meal. We saw most of the characters twice, and they were all so good. Much less rushed than elsewhere.

We had breakfast there last June. We also had the 8:00 ADR. When we checked in, they asked my kids if they would like to help Mary Poppins open the restaurant for breakfast! My son (9) made an announcement to everyone waiting that "breakfast was served" and then my kids walked arm & arm with Mary Poppins to our table! BTW-the food was great too!

I agree that you should keep th reservation.

I noticed that you're doing Park Fare for dinner as well. That is my absolute favorite character meal, the food is good but the character interaction is awesome. I love the evil stepmother and the stepsisters.

So glad you asked this, it was one of the few that we haven't done and sounds like it is a keeper and well worth heading over there!

I'm also glad this was asked because we have it booked for breakfast one morning for our May trip. I was contemplating earlier on whether to cancel or not.

The character interaction here is great - Alice and Mad Hatter as everyone said. But the food is excellent - definitely the best breakfast on property! We have been for the last 3 years and never been disappointed. Not to mention the service there is great - the ladies there are so friendly and always tell us to take our time and bring us that extra cup of coffee. Definitely a must do! Enjoy!
