Keep on waiting to book transportation

I just keep on waiting to book transportation. I had thought I would book Yourride, but I guess I just wasn't convinced that it was right. I keep procrastinating the decision and wasn't comfortable with some of the answers I got. I really wanted to like Rabbit and his company because he is a sponsor and I have benefited so much from the boards, but I guess I had a gut that I will have to go with. So, now the search continues for me. I will have to make a decision at some point!

Not everyone has bad experiences, why not give them a try?
If I did that for every airline I heard bad things about, I guess I wouldn't fly at all.

Are you talking about your ride to and from the resorts?

Like from the airport?

Please don't stew about that. It's such a short part of your vacation...getting to and from isn't a big deal..just make some reservations or be brave and wait until you get there. We usually just take a taxi now. No biggie.

Your FUN will start when you get to the parks..........

relax, don't worry about the transportation part, and most of all HAVE FUN!

I *highly* recommend Avis Car Rental, so, keep a rental car as an option. They are so convienent to have.

Wish you luck in your decision. I am worn to a frazzle planning and researching our cruise. It is nice to finally have everything settled! Our group booked 'Yourride' months ago and plan to continue with them despite a few bad reviews we have read.
I am going to keep thinking positive

Could you tell about what the taxi normally costs from the airport to WDW? Are they just onsite at the airport? The only experience I've had with taxi's was on our Las Vegas trip. You never stepped outside a casino without seeing a long line of taxi's just waiting to take you where you wanted to go. I'm beginning to think maybe a taxi is the best way to go. No reservations, no thinking and sorting out who to use. Thanks!

You are very welcome...it IS very hard making all these Disney decisions and some of them can be so costly in emotions AND financially.

The taxis are just sitting there, just like you saw in Vegas. They line up in the "basement" area of the airport....which also has the most WONDERFUL sculptured metal fence/wall next to it.

Just ask for directions to the taxis from anyone at the airport. Hubby and I get lost so easy that even finding them took several stops...LOL

It costs approximately 35-40$ one way to go from the airport to your resort...and the drivers have always been courteous and helpful. Some of them are Disney nuts too and they'll fill you with some cool insider secrets!

We usually budget $80 for our round trip via taxi....about the same cost as the other companies but easier in that you don't have to worry about meeting a schedule or making prior reservations.

obsessed, I feel the same way. I wanted to use YR for our upcoming trip. Went as far as making the reservation online. Got a confirmation the next day, so far so good. Then I sent a reply with a few quetions, and I could not a straight answer from Rabbit. One was as simmple as "where will we be picked up from at the train in Kissamee"? My response was "where ever people get picked up from". This was'nt very encouraging. Since then I have canceled my reservation with YR and am now going with FL Tours. Hope things work out.
