I was able to get 7DMT but not until 5:30pm. My other 2 FP (BTM & SpaceM) are done before 11. I plan on being there for Rope drop and could hit 7DMT at RD and will be hopping back for HEA and EMH the next day where i expect i could hit 7D again easily.

I'm leaning towards changing the 5:30 FP to a different attraction much earlier to leverage the 4+ fp method. However my question is should i just hold on to the 7D FP until day of or grab something now. There's tons of availability of other stuff right now.

Or do i just RD PP, HM, BTM, Splash and get ahead of the crowd. Then i don't need those 4+ fp.

I have the same situation and same plan with FOP (5:00pm) for my AK day. Going to RD it no matter what and hopefully complete FOP and NVJ then head over to everest (which i don't have FP but could get an early one if i dropped 5pm FOP.

If there is another harder to get day of attraction then you might want to switch it now, but if you are open to anything then keep it and maybe keep looking for a better time. You didn’t mention when you are going. If at a busier time it might make day of FP more limited

I would drop it...I hate being tied down all day to a late FP and not being able to pick up 4th FP, especially in MK where there are so many ride options. Even picking up FP for low to mid tier rides adds up...saving even 15-20 minutes in line per ride adds up if you can do that for 6-7 rides

How hard it is to rope drop 7DMT with the recent crowd levels? The answer to that question (which I don't know) would influence my decision.

I would keep it and try to modify it. The hardest part is done, getting one in the first place. Now you don't have to keep scrolling when you are refreshing for a new time so you can go much faster. That being said, if it got to be the day of and you still hadn't been able to move it by the time you've used your other FP's I would then drop it for something else.

We love 7DMT and find it difficult to do at rope drop, so we’d try to modify time, but would likely not drop it to get more mid-day fastpasses.

We've got it for 4:30 on our MK day. Our plan is to keep it, and play fiddle-faddle. We do have an hour to kill in our plan before then, but it loosens up the plan, and there's pleeeeenty to fill that time if it doesn't need loosening. If we had another FP+ to use, it really wouldn't add much to our day.

I would keep it. We had an evening fastpass for SDMT. We just made sure to choose our 4th as soon as we scanned in. We got there somewhat early, so we did a lot of rides with short waits.

Mind you this was in late January when crowds were very much manageable. They aren't horrific like I keep reading and seeing on the app. So that could make a difference.

I’d keep it for awhile and then if I couldn’t modify it I’d just drop it and ride it at the end of the night (unless you’re doing Happily ever After and it runs at the same time the park closes or you have plans to end your night at another park, then rope drop it).

RD is a zoo for that ride. With current crowds your wait could be significant versus RD other attraction and the try to modify mine train. Mine train one of hardest to get so if crowded keep and modify. You may still get another fp after.

I wouldn't. Our fastpass day was today and the only SDMT we could get was for in the afternoon...we dumped it. I don't like getting late fastpasses in any park, but especially not MK. There are too many rides at MK that you can fastpass day of.

I think it could be very difficult to move your SDMT FP up to an earlier time. The parks have been crazy crowded lately and I don't see that letting up anytime soon. Have you considered going back to your resort for a while in the afternoon and then coming back to do your 5:30 SDMT FP? Or try to book a PPO breakfast at BOG. You can eat quickly and still get in line for SDMT before the rope drop masses start coming.

I'll be bailing on mk for ep dinner and emh pretty much right after this fp if I keep it. Probably will keep it until day of and decide then if I can't pull it up. Depends on crowds

moot point now. Was able to refresh it to 12:50. Now i can RD PP, hit HM, then Frontier land.
