I like your new tradition of hitting up DTD for coffee and shopping before heading to the airport for the sad trip home. I've never had coffee at Ghiradelli's, but I only drink cappucinos 95% of the time. Glad it was an uneventful trip home...isn't the exit row awesome?

Thanks! I'm generally a plain coffee or latte drinker, and Ghirardelli does both very well. They may also have cappuccinos ... so if you ever happen to be there, you can check it out.

I'm sorry Beth won't be able to do "off" times with you for vacation. As much as I am looking forward to my girls trip in July, I am NOT looking forward to the crowds.

Yeah, crowds really don't excite me. My other problem with summer is the heat ... but it probably won't be as bad for you, since you've done September, which can also be hot.

But first, we stopped for a few more hotel pictures:

I have stayed at ASmo and ASmu, but never Sports. Looks pretty cool.

While we were in Tomorrowland, we did something we hadn’t done since Family Vacay 2000…

I love this ride!

Our next stop was a fun musical adventure on Mickey’s PhilharMagic, followed by our first ride of the day on our favorite attraction:

I was going to ask if you had FP for these two attractions, but then I read on.

When you go to the same kiosk that many times (it was generally the kiosk by Philharmagic, with the exception of after Buzz Lightyear, where we went to the kiosk by Stitch and waited on a really long line), you may encounter a CM who remembers you. And seems very entertained by you. So of course, you have to get a picture with said CM … and the FP+ kiosk:

We also asked her what the record was for most FP+ in a day … she said the most she’s ever seen was 17. So our goal for next trip is 18. We’re going for that record!

That is an iced coffee with nonfat milk and caramel. Beth and I got the same thing. And she definitely called it right … AMAZING COFFEE!! We both loved it … which is saying something, because we have very different tastes in coffee.

Mmmmm!!!

One thing that really appeals to me visually is something that’s unintentionally very appropriate. Like rain at a place themed around a typhoon. I took out my phone just to take a picture of the sign … but the rain made it really such a perfect picture.

That really is cool!!!

I have a shot like that I still regret missing... We were snorkeling at Trunk Bay in St. John and there are markers- with the names of some of the things that are under the sea. I was looking at a marker for a parrotfish when one swam over it. And I missed it!!!

Since I already made the mini-TR a lot more detailed than I thought it would be, here’s a summary of the trip in numbers: (yes, I made a little infographic for this … I’m a little bit weird sometimes)

It was cool, but not our favorite. I actually liked ASMo better (we've never stayed at ASMu).

One of the things we regretted from last trip was not getting pictures with CMs we liked, so we made sure to get pictures with our favorite CMs (and FP+ kiosk) this trip!
