I have learned sooooo much in planning my trip from Disboards. But sometimes too much info does not serve well...

I just found out that some rooms in Anabella Hotel has hardwood floors. It is a HUGE attraction to me as I have an active one year old son who crawls everywhere. Changing my current ressie from Stovall's to Anabella would cost me about $70 more. Not sure if I should do it since I dont know if I will 100% sure get a room with hardwood floor. Based on the photos, Anabella looks more interesting than Stovall's. However, reviews on Stovall's are consistantly more positive than that of Anabella. Another factor that I am concerned of is that Stovall's belongs to Best Western where as Anabella is not belong to any well know chain operation. Will the quality of Anabella suffer becuase of that factor?

:confused3:confused3

Help?!:worship: Please?!? Just want to find a clean and comfortable hotel for my family........ It should not be THAT hard, right??

Annabella. We have been there 3 times and really enjoyed 2 of our stays (the third time they were undergoing renovations).

It is a nice place and the walk is close and pretty.

Keep in mind all hotels get bad reviews here and there.

We have had only good stays at Anabella. I feel that most of the bad stays are when people are put in the very back building. I haven't been back there.

As far as I know they are the sister hotel to Carousel, which is interesting because I really disliked Carousel!

Thank you tinkermomma and bumbershoot for your reply.

How about breakfast? I know there are a few family restaurants nearby--Tiffy's and Coco's. How are these two restaurants? Coco's looks good from the website but it does not list prices online.

Stovall's offers free breakfast. Though it is nothing grand, we will be content. My family is happy with breakfast from McD's....

I also found out only 1/3 of rooms at Anabella have hardwood floors.... So it means 2/3 of time I won't get a room that I want. :headache:

I think my hotel-o-meter is pointing towards the Stovall's for free breakfast, upgraded rooms, good hotel reviews, and less $$.
