We leave next week for or trip. Hooray! We will be there oct 7-9 with three day non hoppers. We are planning MM at DLR on Tuesday, but then can't decide how to do the other two days. We plan one more day at DLR and one at DCA.

Wednesday is MM in DCA, so ideally we would be at Disneyland that day. But it is also MHP at DLR so it closes at 6. Then DLR is open until 11pm on Thursday. Seems a waste not to go to DLR on Thursday for more hours and DCA hours are basically the same both days. But that means longer lines on fantasyland rides on Thursday. And we have young kids so we probably won't stay until 11pm anyway. Ugh, I'm so conflicted!

What would you do if you were me? I'm hoping for answers that don't involve upgrading to park hoppers!

I agree, DLR, DCA, and then DLR on thurs.
How young are your kids? Mine were 2 and 5 when we went. There is sooo much to do in DLR. We did Fantasyland, Toon Town, Tommowland mainly. but moved over to Splash a couple times for DD (she was 5).
DCA was more relaxed, not as hectic. We managed to get everything we wanted done. the only drawback to taking a shorter day in DCA (with it being your only day there) is that you may not get to see all the shows. Disney Jr was cute, as were that Turtle Talk show and the Bugs Life one. I could skip the Muppets if you're kids arent into them, or really, have no idea who they are as my kids didnt.
I too like to end my trip at DLR.
