Ok so here goes!!

This trip is all about Kaylee.. She is 7 years old. Kaylee has a genetic illness that effects her heart and liver for the most part. Its called Alagille Syndrome. At the moment she's stable with some uncorrected CHD'S that will be fixed in the future. Its the kind of illness that throws some unwanted suprises in the mix so i figured No better time for her wish to come true

Kaylee made her wish back in December, The wish - "to be a princess in Disney World". Her wish was officially granted last month and we've finally got dates. We arrive at GKTW May 12th

Feeling really overwhelmed with the whole experience so I'll keep this short for now Just wanted to introduce the 'princesss'!!

SO happy you got your dates and that Kaylee will get her wish !!

We're leaving in 3 days .. and talk about feeling overwhelmed !! But I know our families will have such a great time.

So glad you have your dates and that your dd has her MAW trip to look forward to! Have you been to WDW before and is she somewhat familiar with the parks? Will you be staying at GKTW? The only thing I want to mention to ve aware of is the heat. It was 89 here in Orlando today and will be warming up soon. We haven't really had "spring" in the past few years with it going from cold to hot almost overnight. I'm glad you are coming in mid-May vs. the summer months!

if you have not gotten the GKTW site or facebook, try to find. i was there on 2 different wish kids trips last year. GKTW will do everything possible to help you have a great trip. plan to do as many activities as you can. the GKTW village is like it's own trip. i do not have anymore but call them with any question. i know it sounds crazy but relax and be ready to have an unbelieveable trip. you can not do it all but plan to do the important things for your child. ps granted i have grandsons but they love the princesses and we taken to the M&G without waiting in the long line. use the Disney photo pass as much as possible, let photgraphers know you are MAW. weeks we were at village Belle in blue dress and Mary Poppins were at village for photos. any time out and about in village, have a camera with you. plus village will have their cameras. they have "Angles" that will use your camera for you so you both can be with you child. know this is long but PM me if i can help you.
