Saturday 2nd November 2002 Day Ten
We were up fairly early today to get the boat to MGM. DH was becoming very addicted to Who wants to be a millionaire. He had got to 5th on the leader board and I to 3rd. But not in the hot seat yet though.
We did the animation tour today and didnt realise because it was a Saturday none of the animators were working next time we will do it on a weekday. We also stopped by and watched the Indiana Jones show before having baked potato and hot dog for lunch. After this we got the bus to Animal Kingdom, as we hadnt seen the parade yet. We went to try the new Primeval Wheel I wasnt too sure about this and thought it maybe a bit kiddy buy was I wrong what a great fun ride. We walked through to Asia to get a good spot to tape the parade. It was quieter here and the characters paid you more attention. I enjoyed this parade very much and was glad we didnt miss it. We left the park at about 5pm and the front of the park was filled with characters.
We got the bus back to the Boardwalk for a shower and change before we headed back out to the Magic Kingdom. This was to see Spectro and the fireworks for the last time. We also managed to squeeze in a few more rides on Buzz for DH before going back to the Boardwalk.
Sunday 3rd November 2002 Day Eleven
Today was a water park day as Blizzard Beach was the only one open here is where we headed. I had a spot on the sun lounger while DH went and did all the scary rides here summit plummit etc. DH spotted Sam Kane and Linda Lusardi in the water thats the extent of the celebrities we saw. I find this park far too hot with all of the white snow feel to it, I must admit Typhoon Lagoon is now my favourite.
After lunch we did Winter Summerland Miniature Golf this course is a lot easier than Fantasia, but was something nice to do after the swimming. We got the Bus back to the Boardwalk for a shower and change and then got the boat to MGM for the Fantasmic Dinner Package. The food at Hollywood and Vine was great again and out final Fantasmic was superb! I really enjoy this show. We walked back to the Boardwalk as the boat queue was huge it only took us the 12 mins.
We were going to try Jelly Rolls tonight. When we got there it was quite empty but it soon filled up. The guys on the piano were brilliant, we had a few drinks and sang along to the songs. I wish we had been earlier in our trip. We definitely go in here a couple of times next year. We strolled along the Boardwalk and back up to our room.
