Hi
Just wondering if anyone has done any kayaking? We're looking for somewhere fairly near to Orlando, and a company with a good guide?!
Any suggestions?
Many Thanks
Tracy

Sorry i don't know the answer but when they read the title of this, did anyone else have a vision of a kayak really weighed down with a manatee in it, trying to hold the paddle in its flippers?:lmao: No? Just me then....:rolleyes1

LOL! Took me back to our trip last month - I was watching a manatee swim up river at Sebastien Inlet on the Atlantic coast and texted DD to tell her. Her reply (knowing we had a kayaking trip planned later in the day) "maybe you'll see some manatees kayaking". I texted back "no, they wouldn't be able to hold the paddle..."

BTW, we did see a manatee when we were kayaking, but it was near Vero Beach, not Orlando. Crystal River is a good manatee-spotting area, but it's also a couple of hours drive from Orlando.

Hi Hilary,
I did mean by the coast... not in Orlando!
I know there are some companies that do trips near Titusville, and further south near Vero Beach..
I was thinking more around the Titusville area? Anyone got any company websites I can look at??
Thanks
Tracy
