Is it just me or does anybody else think she says the word with the emphasis on the wrong syllable? It is driving me NUTS!

Okay, so I had to look up the song and she does say it weird. That being said, it's not so strange for musicians to 'make' a word fit with the music. If you really listen they do it all the time: add syllable, drop some, and make them rhyme when they really don't. It just sounds worse here bc it's the chorus and the title.

What drives me nuts is she is horrible live as in cant sing. Ugh I hate auto tune.

Her songs are cute pop music.

A good singer can still make the word sound like it is supposed to. We have to do it all the time with Handel (he wrote in English although his first language was German, so every once in a while you have to help his English out).

And yes, the song is super annoying.

Sent from me.

My ds12 said "that word has too many syllables for a chorus...sounds weird!"

It doesn't bother me how she sings it. Although, it don't like the song.

Love the song, love Katie Perry. It seems like its such a long word and its the way its split into each syllable or something.

The lyrics and meaning are great but yeah it could of been better words to put it all toghether.
