I will be arriving on Disney on Saturday. What do you think Katrina will do to my time there. I am only staying til Wednesday morning. We were thinking of moving the vacation but we can't! Will we be ok. Heard that just Saturday may be a washout.

As of right now, the only impact this storm will have on the Disney area is rain on Saturday.

That is fine with me. We didn't have much planned for that day anyhow. You wouldn't suggest switching our plans would u?

I'm flying down Saturday myself, and I'm not. Unless it changes course, it's not gonna come close to Orlando.

Flying out ot LGA at 6:15 am on Sat into Dulles, a quick layover, and then off to MCO. We're not changing. Can't afford to. So much for my relaxing 4 days by the pool lol. It has gone from four days by the pool to one park day and 3 days by the pool to 2 park days and 2 days by the pool and now to 1 rain/shopping day, 2 park days, and 1 day by the pool.....oooooo well!

I think that once Saturday is over. Sunday, Monday and the rest of the week will be nice for the parks and pool.

So far, we're only supposed to get 10-15 mph winds...so breezy, with rain some rain on Friday and Saturday. I can tell you that last night and today have been cooler with a wonderful breeze. If I was heading to the parks I'd be thrilled because you'll get a break from the heat!

What's up with these cute names for Hurricanes?

Where's Hurricane Malificent?
Hurricane Ursula?
Hurricane Cruella?
Hurricane Mary Poppins? (sorry, I didn't hate Mary, but her talking umbrella handle creeps me out) ;)

I will enjoy the breeze but like to see some sun on my days there. I leave on Wednesday to come back home.

From your computer to God's ears.

I was watching the Today's Show and they said even if it becomes a hurricane. It will only be a cat 1. Mostly rain. Don't forget last year when they closed the parks for the 3 hurricanes it had only been done 1 other time in their history. I can't remember which hurricane it was. Anyway just see what kind of rain and wind there will be and decide what to do when you get up. Also they say that the week after a hurricane is always beautiful weather. Have fun. Brenda

I could hug you-I am so thrilled to hear this!!!!! I was worried about my flight tomorrow morning.
Thanks for passing it on!
