Big day tomorrow, we pick up Katie's hearing aid. She is so excited she hasnt had one since she was 2 and it drove her crazy b/c she couldn't tell us if it was set correctly. I just hopes she stays this excited after she starts to wear it

23 days and counting ...Girls are so excited. We meet with AWCT next wednesday to finalize. Katie doesn't know we are going to finalize her trip since thinks she isjust going for her monthly craft program that they do.

How exciting that you are getting the final details of your trip so soon and that it will be a surprise for Katie is awesome. We will be there around the same time as your family and don't get final details until the 22nd. I think I pretty much know what they will tell us but still seems so close to when we leave. Now that it is under one month it is getting pretty exciting around here as I am sure it is around your house.

Maybe we will see you around GKTW! Take care...

Thank you for the compliment...sometimes they very cute other times not so much.



The hearing aid so far seems to be a hit, she is actually keeping it in most of the time. made the girls their appointment to BBB they will get to go first thing in the morning the first full day we are there. we havent told them about it yet...can't wait to see their faces.

Katie has the same purple one but her inside tye die colors are blue purple and white. Pink is her sisters favorite color so she refuses to have anything to do with it.

I made an attempt at the iron transfer t-shirts for our trip omg I am usually very crafty. I make the kids birthday cakes, christmas ornaments, doll clothes but I apparently have no skills for the iron (my mom told me I should learn to use one...eventually steaming things in the bathroom would not work) Needless to say i now have acquired some nice new dust clothes lol.

Does anyone have any can't miss restaurants while we are there?

We will be arriving at GKTW on the Friday before you the 28th of January. As for the size until this year all 3 of my boys were very small - my oldest is now almost 18 BUT at 13 he was barely 53 pounds. He is now about 5'8" and 130 (this is his wish trip we are going on). My twins are still small - Clay the sickest is actually taller and heavier now but alot is due to medication and his g-tube. Cole is still about 70 pounds (Clay is about 90) and they will be 14 soon. So small is not an issue. At Disney she should be able to go on almost all - except maybe a few of the roller coasters.

Thank you everyone for all the Info! Katie's wish granter came by today with all he'd goodies and the rest of our info for our trip. Hopefully we will be able to do everything want and stay on budget... I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW FAST WENT BY only a little more than a week

I lost your thread there for a while!

You should sooo try making the shirts again! It's not that hard, although I have messed up quite a few of my own. My kids will agree with me- as mickey's arm is really not supposed to be smeared across his face.... but it makes an interesting pajama shirt!

Hope all is going well in your planning! Haven't been on the boards too much lately- been busy and crazy!

Your trip is sooooo close! I hope you all have a blast and wish you so much pixie dust you all float away!

THere are only a few days left before we leave. The girls are dizzy with excitement. Hopefully we can get away from the 20 in of snow in the yard and not miss it for the week. All reservations seem to be in place girls do not know about those. All there bags are packed. Mine and hubbies are pretty much done. Letter from doctor for pediasure and duocal picked up yesterday. Wish granter stopped by last week due to all the snow it was hard to coordinate a visit with her granter but Katie loved all the gifts. Her new leg and sneakers are done in time for her trip we just picked it up yesterday we were having a horrible time with her sneaker. The shirts were a no go I tried twice, we will have a great time even with out them. Thank you everyone for your wishes and help. If don't post before we leave i will as soon as return home. My DH now has to go out to shovel the new 10 inches of snow that appeared overnight. my kids will be in school until july at this rate

I hope you have the most magical time on your trip!!! I'm sorry the shirts didn't work out. They are hard to do!

Here's a thought... On the Creative DISigns board, some of the DISigners have made some very cute invitations for many of the character dining ADR's, BBB, etc. I printed those on cardstock for my kiddos before we went, and then would leave them out as a special surprise each morning to let them know what the event of the day was. It added a little more magic to each day, especially if you have things planned that are surprises!

I hope you will come back and post some pictures and tell us how Katie's wish trip was!!
