DD (16) and I share sandwiches or make a half a sandwich most of the time.

I didn't see anything wrong (besides it being gaggy egg salad) with the lunch except I need a few chips with my sandwich!
I think Kate was being sarcastic when she chose the phrase "it is like dealing with a bunch of kindergartners." She seemed to search for a comparision, came up with that and seemed to find it funny since it was the truth--which Cara pointed out and the whole moment had me

.
Well, she is in charge and always will be. Not so sure why that was the quote of the night.

Maybe I'm not getting it?
I thought she meant 3 dozen eggs a week. 3 dozen a day would be A LOT!!
Yeah, I'd be trying hard not to be the disobedient child for sure. I hear chickens are nasty!
I do think she seems to be tring harder and doing better with her quirks. But heck, we've all got'tem, not sure I want to get rid of all mne. LOL. I sleep on white, high thread-count sheets--I'm not sleeping on floral sheets, no way, no how.
I think it is good to see her watching her pennies. I'm sure with a lot of kids it is even more of a necessity than I have with one. And I watch closely (coupons anyone?!

)
Just gotta say, I'd have to turned toward any male in sight for help with a hen-pecked chicken.
