Karo Syrup in a bottle?

My 7 month old has been constipated so per my Pedi. we give her either Gerber apple juice mixed with her solids or mix some baby prunes in with her food and it usually works pretty well.

BTW, 1 TBSP of honey and probably Karo in a glass of hot water is good for treating adult constipation too.

I'm not a huge fan of giving babies unecessary sugar. When DD is constipated, I give her an ounce or two of plain water and it does the trick

My mom could not breast feed as her milk was calorie poor. My brother and I both were cow milk fed from birth (early and mid 60s). She added like a teaspoon of karo so to avoid constipation from the cows milk. Doesn't seem to have hurt my brother but I do have weak enamel and have had problems with cavieties my whole life. Not sure if it was the suger in the karo or not. However we were never put down with a bottle either.
