What an awesome party MAW threw for Karlyn! Their building is just beautiful, and I think it's so neat that they have their own princess! Karlyn looks adorable in her Minnie outfit. I just love Minnie outfits!!! The whole time we were in MK, I never saw one as cute as Shay Lynne's Minnie twirl that mytwotinks made for her, and I know you'll feel the same way when you're there and Karlyn is wearing her Minnie! And those wishing stars!! They are just beautiful. I know the kids must've gotten so excited by that party. Your trip is getting closer!!

I think that would be great. Our flight lands about 4:30 on the 10th and the plan is to go straight to GKTW and hang out there for the night. The other 5 of us who don't get to stay at GKTW will head to Port Orleans Riverside, check in and then head over to see GKTW. As we get closer, we will have to see if we can arrange a meet!

I love Shay Lynne's Minnie outfit. It is incredible and she looks so darling in it. And Clay's pirate Mickey shirt--way cool! I am impressed with your big kids who are so great with the twins.

The Wishing Place as it is called is truly a gift to the wish children of Utah. It is an incredible place that makes you realize that we are all wishing for things in our lives and hoping that there will be some way to achieve that wish! It brings peace and hope to my heart everytime I go there.

Thank you so much for letting me be a part of the Wish party for Karlyn. It was so fun to see the Wishing Place from the side of a wish coming true rather than from the side I am used to seeing it, the fundraisers and auctions. It was such an honor to be included in the special celebration.

The star raising was an amazing and tear jerking moment. Karlyn's star really stands out among the other stars as it is the only polka dot star. I cried when I saw the Princess in the wishing room, especially since she was dressed like my favorite princess. What a special experience it was for your family! Thanks again for letting me be a part of it. It was pretty special to me too.

Our wish trip is in Dec. My mom and niece decided they would like to tag along too so they will make their own reservations at the resort. I'll be checking in for advice on what works and doesn't work for your family

I am in West Jordan in the Salt Lake Valley. It is really, really too hot here today! It looks like it is only going to get hotter too!

Our family was just in West Jordan in April. It is so pretty there

Even Seattle has gotten up there and it is much more humid there than here, and the folks there are not used to anything much over 75.

That is so true. It's 10pm here now and it's still above 70. It's 87 in the house. It is miserable. I wish we had air conditioning.

We have the best news…Make A Wish along with a generous donor here in Salt Lake have made it possible for Karlyn and her family to go to the 4th of July Hannah Montana concert at BYU in Provo.

Oh how FUN! Drew (my MAW boy) would have absolutely loved that. He loves Hannah Montana too (but it's a secret)

We are very grateful to know that we still have time no matter how long it may be to make family memories with Karlyn and our other two children. The phrase "You should always live every day as if it were your last" has become more than just a saying to our friends and family.
We as a family are so greatful to have you in the process to help make our memories so grand. (and to feed our need for all things Disney!)

What a journey you have been on. You guys deserve this trip. I can't wait to see all the memories you make

Here is a picture of Brody's shirt and Karlyn's dress, or is it Gabby's? Who knows, they are identical!

Now the good news. Karlyn had her Cardiology checkup today with an echocardiogram. There is no change from April and that is great. Her right ventricle is still working well and though her pressures are too high, they aren't any worse than usual. There does not appear to be any increase in loss of lung function since April and that is wonderful.

You were in West Jordan? Oh my goodness, that's wonderful. It really isn't "on the way" to much but we do love it here. Were you visiting family or just driving through?

I will be sure to let you know how things go with us being in two different places for our trip. We are so excited to get to go to experience Karlyn's wish that I think we would have considered sleeping in the car if necessary You will love WDW in December. The holiday decorations and special programs are amazing. We saw some of the most incredible Gingerbread houses I have ever seen!

Thanks Denise. We are getting more and more excited every day. I can't wait to see Disney at Christmas time. It's been a dream of mine for years.

We have friends that are basically family that live in West Jordan. I wanted something to do for Spring Break so I loaded the kids in the van and off we went. We stayed a night in Boise, a night in Toole, two nights in SLC, and two nights in Lehi. Then we drove straight back to WA. It was one of the best trips ever. We got to see lots of friends and make so many memories.

I can't wait to hear all about your trip

Wow, How fun is that. We love POR. I absolutely love the boat to DTD. Even when we are staying at another resort, my husband and I always take time to ride the boat! Don't miss it, your kids will love it. I hope we see you. We get there the evening of the 10th and leave to come home on Sept 16th. I can hardly wait! 24 days for us both WOO HOO!

After surviving the moving process I am back, and ready to post picture. I appologize that it has taken so long.
In all of the craziness we received a package from Piper

The package had our wonderful "Wish 2008" t-shirts

They could hardly believe how many characters were in the letters. Karlyn found her favorite ones very quickly. Maybe because all of them are her favorites! Gabby and Brody had a harder time trying to decide which one was their favorite and where it was.

They had to immediatley put them on to show off to anyone that would look.

We also received a giant package from Mrs. Miller. We are all still trying to figure out how she got so much in a little box?

This one happens to be my favorite!

Karlyn LOVES her Belle sundress. It also came with long gloves but the elastic needs to be adjusted because Karlyn has "chicken arms".

Tinker is always a big hit at our house. I love the pointed hem line. The Minnie Mouse outfit Gabby is wearing is Grandpa's favorite because the shirt is reverseable! Who doesnt like a shirt that you can turn inside out if you spill!
Karlyn would not take off the Belle dress to try on anything else but Gabby is always more that willing to go from one out fit to another. Just ask her dad who does the laundry.

Gabby loves the cinderella button on the bow. I have a feeling we will be ironing this one at least once a week so it can be worn to school.

And who can forget Brody!

Brody loves this one. He was very impressed with the little pack that he can put all of his "loot" in.
Mrs Miller also sent him two other wonderful short and tank tops sets. We love the zipper pocket on the shorts. More places for him to put his "loot" in.

Thank you for sending the kids such wonderful gifts. It is things like these that help make our trip one we will never forget.
