Karaoke--What Song Are You Going To Sing?

Okay, this is a 'mini meet' so everyone can participate in this one. Who's Singing What?

I want to sing 'We Are Family' with the group again. And I might consider singing other songs.....but I'll have to take up drinking first and then hope to get sloshed before I get sick. LOL

I've been thinking about this since DIScon 2001. And I haven't come up with an answer yet. I can't decide whether I want to go serious or silly (or both). Perhaps I'll just sit by again and listen to everyone else like I did last year.

LOL John, me too. The only difference is that YOU have a lovely voice...and I, well, uh, let's just say that I should be on the listening side of the stage.

Im sure my mom will try to get myself and my sister on stage to sing something. So everyone be warned I cant sing, my mother and sister on the other hand can. So maybe they will sing loud enough to drowned me out.

Oh yes, Kim!! You need to do a "group" song...that way you can stand in the back of them and sort of just whisper the song...that way you still 'officially' did Karaoke!!

They do not have this song in their listings, but my fave song is a Different Drum by the Stone Ponies...ala Linda Ronstadt... Beanie.. we should practice this and sing it.. LOL

By the way, I love that song too!! I think I will go dig it out of DH's equipment now and place it in the "take this to Dis Con" pile! You know, just in case...
