Karaoke on board?

We have a large group going and were thinking it would be fun to do karaoke. Do they have it and where/when is it usually held? Any way to find out what songs they offer if we chose to rehearse first?

Family karoke was in Studio Sea on certain nights. They have a huge book listing songs. You choose one and fill out a form, hand it to the CM running things that night. He puts them in order and gives them to the DJ, you are announced and called up when it is time for your song. They start with a limit of one song per person or group, but will allow more if they have time.

I don't know of any way to get the song list in advance, but someone else might. The funny thing was that there were no Disney songs on the list--even the CM commented on this.

On our Magic Western cruise this month, Wednesday Night was karaoke for adults only in Rockin' Bar D after the pirate party. It was a lot of fun, but it was pretty dead in there. There were never more than 15 people in the room at any given time.

We were just on the Magic....Adult Karaoke was on Tuesday evening at 10:45 pm. We went and had a blast. Not sure what night family karaoke is. It was in Rockin D Bar.

Disney has taken out any/all controversial songs from karaoke.

Many people brought their own Karaoke disk with them on our cruise and Disney gladly let them sing them.

They make an announcement that the person brought their own music so that if you are offended, it is not Disney's fault.

If you don’t bring a disc, you will wind up singing Mary poppins. There are tons of other songs….but nothing “popular” today

Yes, both Family Karaoke and Adult Karaoke.

I looked at a recent Navigator HERE and it showed Family Karaoke on two different nights in Studio Sea and Adult Karaoke one night in Wavebands.
