Karamell-Kutche building in the latest Werther's Originals commercial

Meant to post this the other day...there is a Werther's Originals commercial out in the wild - I caught it on the Food Network - that uses the Karamell-Kutche building at the beginning. It's got a slight sepia tone to look like they are showing an old shop, but it is unmistakable. They did change the sign lettering to say Werther's Originals instead, but the sign shape was the same. You could see a bit to the courtyard as well (obviously empty and void of any telltale signs it is Disney...)

We paused it and looked, and compared against pictures. It was the same exact building. Unless they reproduced another building along with the surroundings.

FYI, I'm not talking about the commercial from last year with the girl entering the shop with the big brown doors...that location was used for several commercials in the past. This one starts with an establishing shot of the Kutche, then shows the cooks inside.

If I can catch it again and get it off the TiVo somehow, I'll try and make it available.

Haven't seen the commercial again, but I did find that they did shoot a new commercial in Epcot in December.

But here is a bit of trivia I was NOT aware of. In some of the older commercials, where they show a building that is a caramel shoppe - which is obviously different than Karamell-Kutche - - the one I said earlier was not the commercial I was talking about - that building is Der Teddy Bar! Apparently when they wanted to film a commercial showing a bit of the town of Werther, they decided that the Germany pavilion looked good enough as a stand in, so they re-decorated Der Teddy Bar (with the big double door with the curved top) to be the shop!

They shot a few different versions that used it. You can still see the toys in the window.

The new commercial has not been uploaded that I can find, but it's a bit similar, with the KK building shown instead (and no people).

Yes, it's on my DVR, and I used to have a good way to extract it, but various OS upgrades over time seem to have made that more difficult. Working on it.

It's a VERY brief moving shot, after which it's all inside.
