Kansas City to WDW

Just curious if anyone has done the drive from KC to WDW. We will be driving down in June. Any suggestions on a good 1st night stay...places to avoid, etc? I will be driving by myself with 2 teenagers...13 and 14, so there is no way to drive straight through.

SANDYT67- We live in SW MO, Last July we did the big drive to WDW, Two days down, Drove straight thru comming back. Going down was great, We went Spfd-Memphis- Jackson Miss, Mobile Al. Stayed at Mobile Al first night, Up early next day made it to WDW by 4. Took us 19-20 Hours going home, went back home thru Atlanta on to Alabama, Miss, Tn, back to Spfd. Going back to WDW in March, will be Flying this time, Always on SW out of KCI. ....... Thinking about doing the drive trip again for our July 03 Trip????
