Kalahari in Sandusky Ohio

We are back from a wonderful trip!
We went on Wednesday and Thursday, there were NO lines, it was awesome! We ate at Ryans, which was a good, inexpensive and filling meal for all of us. We also ate in the waterpark for lunch, and the food was acceptable though a little pricey. The room was very clean, spacious (queen suite), and close to the action. We will definitely visit again, it was a fantastic time!

We did take a bag of snacks and drinks in with us, no problem at all. The kids nibbled all day, and we still spent plenty of money at the resort! LOL

Is DeMore's still open in Sandusky? It wouldn't be too far from Kalahari, and it's a small, local place with the absolute best lake perch you've ever had.

And last I knew some of the local places (esp. Pizza Hut down the road) would deliver to the hotel (DH just met them in the lobby).

We were going to have pizza delivered late at night, forgetting that we visited during the week, and the places we called were not open that late except on weekends..... we survived with junk food and a big breakfast
