Kajeet nightmare

I tried to order a Kajeet phone for my son...after about a month, a ton of phone calls where I was told A) they have no way to talk to the shipping department and B) they have no way to cancel an order, I gave up. I never did receive a phone, and my card was never charged for it.

I ended up adding DS to my mom's plan (she already had multiple lines so it was quite cheap). She has the best customer service department :hug:

well at least u weren't charged..... I was charged $107 for the phone back on 8/3.........
I have dealt with NEt10 and tracfone for the last few years..... and their customer service is a dream compared to Kajeets...
 
i have spoken to the "supervisor" on numerous times... was told by supervisor he would return my call withing "3hours" " by end of day" within 24 hrs" etc etc etc and never got a return call....
I don't think i should need to fight to get a working cell phone or refund..... two weeks would have been fine..... its almost going on double that....

I completley understand and agree with you.
 
are they kidding me.... op here ... just checked my credit card today and now Kajeet has charged me a $15.74 month service charge for a phone i have never used activated and am still waiting for a credit for.............

The same happened to me. Any customer service rep should be able to credit your card and close the account for you. Beware though that credits take about a month to show up on your card and they will blame your credit card company.

well when i called kajeet last week about the monthly charge.... they couldn't find a record of it..... so they took my info and were going to "escalate the ticket" which in their lingo means file it in the trash bin......
i really am a patient person... but this company is an absolute nightmare.... and i still do not have a credit for the damaged phone they now have in their possesion for 32 days.....

i have already disputed the charges with my credit card company... so it should all be resolved within the month....God willing...

but i will be calling credit card company later today.... to issue me another credit card number....I can so see this company charging me another charge next month they cant find

That is so sad. I can see them keeping the account open and charging you again too. Too bad Visa can't just put a block on any charges from them.

I think you did the best and least aggrevating thing letting the credit card company deal with the situation.
 
op here.... update.... kajeet NEVER credited me for for the returned phone or monthly service.... so my credit card company performed a charge back and closed my account to reissue me a new credit card number....
