K Teacher needs help

One year I put together a little "summer survival kit" for the parents of my Kindergarten students. I remember it had a piece of string (when you are at the end of your rope, tie the string on and HOLD ON) a lifesaver (in case you need it) etc. Because my organizational skills are undeveloped, I can't find the list of the materials I need nor the little poem that went with them.

Does anyone have a list of the things that I could include and the reason for them?
