DH and I have a quick 3 night adult only trip booked 10/30-11/2. We will be doing Halloween Horror Nights at Universal, but have the rest of the time open for hopefully some pool time, Disney Springs, and possibly Volcano Bay, weather permitting. We had wanted to go to a Disney park for a day, but decided against it because it will be a very busy weekend for the parks.

I currently have a 2 queen room booked at Swan. For a savings of roughly $200, we could switch to a king room at JW Marriott Grande Lakes. The pool at JW is more appealing to us, but I think pool time could be iffy in late October/early November. Can anyone speak to how the shuttle service is at JW? We like the idea we can use Disney transportation at the Swan and would just Uber to and from the airport and HHN. But if the JW's shuttles to WDW and Universal are reliable, that would help too.

Which resort would you choose?

I love the JW Marriott. I have never even wanted to go to a park once I am there. It is just so beautiful and relaxing. So can’t comment on transportation to the parks, but Uber should work fine.

I can't help in general, as I haven't been to the JW Marriott since they first opened. But, I can provide some information on the above.

The average high temperature for October 30 to November 2 is about 81 F (27 C). The average low temperature is 61 F (16 C). Although you might be getting near the end of "pool season", chances are strong that you'll have decently warm weather.

With your Uni plans I'd stay closer to there...the Disney transport is mostly useful for onsite activities anyway. IDK how much closer the other is
