DD's 6 and 8 love Justin Bieber. I was asked by a friend to join her and her DD to an upcoming concert.
At $110/ticket, I wanted to hear from anyone on here who has been to one of his concerts. If my kids would have a great time, I wouldn't mind spending the money. Are they too young?
I am picturing the concert to be complete chaos, with screaming Tweens/teens so loud that you can't even hear the songs.
I want to hear from people who have actually been to a concert.
Thanks!!

I haven't been, but JB played near here last night and my Facebook feed is full of mothers who took their daughters. Consensus was that the girls had a great time (mostly age 7-9). Bruno Mars came to town earlier in the week and several mothers went to both concerts and were commenting about how much more their ears were ringing after the JB concert compared to Bruno Mars (one mother commented that One Direction was the same.) I suspect they turn up the volume to drown out the screaming Tweens. Not sure if that's a good thing, or a bad thing... But it sounds like you can hear the music over the screaming.

So I guess my kids aren't too young for it then...

I think there will be plenty of other kids their ages there. But only you can decide if they're too young. (Personally, I'm in favor of 'saving' some fun experiences for when they get older. We didn't go to the JB concert. My DD dances to some JB music in her dance class and likes it, but isn't a mega-fan or anything. She didn't specifically ask to go. I'm sure she would have enjoyed the spectacle, but I think we'll wait... Obviously, a lot of my friends felt differently and took their kids, and that's fine.)

I took my DD7 to his concert in Pittsburgh last year. We definitely had a great time, but it was louder than anything I have ever experienced in my life (and I've been to my fair share of concerts). We had ear plugs and even with them, it was still unbelievably loud.

You don't have to worry about hearing the music, though. They make it more than loud enough so that it can be heard above the constant screaming. All that said, I really enjoyed the show and don't have any regrets about going.

My girl knows about JB but isn't a fan. Thank God. I do not like JB at all. He's a selfish twit that needs to get knocked down a few levels back to reality.
I took her to see Katy Perry (who, I will admit isn't exactly the best role model ever, but at least she isn't peeing in mop buckets in a restaurant!!) last year and she had a good ol time.

He tends to run a couple of hours late, so beware if it is a school night.
