JB (don't you remember when JB stood for "Jonas Brothers"?) opened for Taylor Swift a few weeks ago.

It was at Gilette Stadium, so the sound dispersed a bit better than it would have in a regular place.

HOWEVER, I am not a Bieber fan, so I went inside our lovely Club Level area when he performed.

Screaming girls? Oh, yes.

Obnoxious and loud? Yes, please.

Good. Luck. Really. You'll need it.

I was at this same concert as Amanda and I also didn't watch Justin Bieber lol. We were too busy scoping out a good place to stand and watch Taylor from since we didn't have seats together. I was with my 16 year old cousin and she apparently wanted nothing to do with Justin Bieber ha! It was REALLY loud and there were TONS of screaming girls.

I think JB is more popular with the tweens and little kids, to be honest. I've talked to girls my age, and they HATE him.

I'd say about 1/3 of the girls in my dance class like him (age range 12-18). 1/3 don't care, and the other 1/3 are Adam Lambert fangirls

My brother said he was going to buy a Justin Bieber poster for his daughter's room. She's 9 months old, but he said that was about the right age that JB's handlers were aiming for.

Ok, here was the concert 411:

7:00-7:15: Started with a girl group called The Stunners (nothing special)
7:15-7:30: Jessica Jerrell played (no idea who she was)
7:45-8:15: Shawn Kingston played (vent::::I don't like how he uses the word 'suicidal' in that one song. I think it sends the wrong message to teens)
8:15-8:45: BREAK (felt like F O R E V E R)
8:45: JUSTIN finally decides to make his appearance....screams that were defeaning by tween girls everywhere
10:13: Concert finally ends
Midnight: Time I FINALLY got home ...ughhhh

MISC:
* During the break times, Michael Jackson music played.
* T-Shirts: $40 each for the ones I could spot. It was REALLY packed, so I was only able to see the price of the two shirts closest to me. We got one at Justice for $14 the other day with their 40% off sale.
* Tons of girls made their own t-shirts to wear to the concert. That was really neat to see all the creativity.
* Encore song was "Baby."

Thank God that is over. I had to work all day so I am definitely ready for a nap!

It was seriously mobbed, but everyone was very respectful. The line to get INTO the concert took a good 20 minutes.

Ok, that is ridiculous to me. The main act plays for maybe an hour and half? I would be so mad if I had paid that money and that's all I got. I used to be a concert junkie and the main act would always play for 2 + hours. Oh, those were the days. When I could afford going to concerts....

I'm not looking forward to who will be the big thing when DD gets old enough. At least it won't be Justin Bieber! Britney will probably be making her 15th comeback or something

DD11 wants to go when he comes to town, however, the tickets were 112 per person on up and there is just no way that is happening.

Disclaimer:checked the ticket offers again, they start at 69.00 for I am sure the nosebleed section. but November is a long way away. maybe.

Was this just for joining the fan club & buying the presale tickets? That'sall I did, but I didn't stop long enough to read what came with it.

Or was this one of the upgraded packages?

They had three levels of tickets:

Most expensive: Gift package, VIP seating and you got to attend the sound check
In-the-middle: Regular seating and gift package
Regular price: Just the ticket

By the time I got online the most expensive and regular-price tickets were sold out, so we got the in-the-middle -- tickets and gift package.

I got my daughter tickets for her birthday. Lucky for me she's 13 so I've decided to let her and her friend go in alone while I wait in the "parent room," or I just might wait in the car. I sat through the Jonas Brothers concert last year and really just didn't want to do that again. I plan to bring a good book and enjoy the alone time while she and her friend scream themselves silly.

You're thinking of bands who have been around for more than 6 months. Justin Bieber probably only had enough songs to cover that small time frame...and I'm sure he extended some of those songs with extra "ooohs" and "baby"s (I've heard him called a lyrical genius, how absurd). I was going to take my kiddo, but 379 per ticket was too much. I got to keep my sanity though. There was a radio station that was giving girls tickets to JBs concert if they shaved their heads....there were a ton of tween girls who did. I was very sad for them.
