Justin Bieber Concert Questions

I am taking my daughter to the Justin Bieber concert tonight at Summerfest. I have a couple of questions for thos of you have recently gone to one of his concerts:

1. How long am I going to have to sit through this? Opps, I mean HOW LONG IS THE CONCERT?
2. How is the crowd? loud, obnoxious, etc.

I REALLY don't want to go, but I am doing it for my daughter. God help me.

HA HA HA I totally feel your pain. I got suckered into buying tickets for his concert for my daughters birthday present. There is no way I want to go but she's only 9 and that's too young to go on her own. Someone suggested to me to bring a MP3 player but I don't think I will be able to hear anything over all the prepubescent girls screams. I will be curious to see your review after the concert is over. Please come back and tell me you survived

We are going in September. But having seen similar concerts recently, I would recommend earplugs for your entire family. The music and the screaming are very loud.

I will be the odd one out and say I'm totally jealous! Justin Bieber is big in this house...with the kids and us. LOL My 3 1/2 year old son LOVES Justin Bieber. We were going to try to get tix, but the $$ is better spent elsewhere.

Hmm, no Bieber concert feedback yet? Looks like you might get the honor of being the first to report back.

If the Jonas Brothers concerts I attended with my DD's are any indication, and I suspect they probably are, I highly recommend earplugs. The volume of the music wasn't a problem for me as I've logged my share of concert time, so that was no surprise. The shrieks of the adoring young things on the other hand... crazy annoying!

Could you please report back on the T-Shirt situation? Are they ridiculously expensive?


Our concert isn't until December but I want to try to get my hands on a concert shirt. I'm giving DD8 the tix for her b-day in September. I thought it would be fun to put a shirt in with them.

Noise I'm not concerned about, know what to expect...took her to the Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana concert opened by the JoBros-need I say more.

OT, but a budget deal-they seem to sell glow sticks at a lot of kid concerts (I did Imagination Movers in Dec with DS4). So I took DD up to the dollar store and let her pick out a few glow sticks there for her and her friend. She picked out 2-2 packs of glow necklaces (1 pink, 1 purple) so they each have two-1 of each color for the concert to wear.

YW...they (Dollar Tree) also had wand ones that had a heart on the end. We had those in our basket for awhile till DD decided she wouldn't want to hold it all night.

JB (don't you remember when JB stood for "Jonas Brothers"?) opened for Taylor Swift a few weeks ago.

It was at Gilette Stadium, so the sound dispersed a bit better than it would have in a regular place.

HOWEVER, I am not a Bieber fan, so I went inside our lovely Club Level area when he performed.

Screaming girls? Oh, yes.

Obnoxious and loud? Yes, please.

Just wanted to commend all the parents who are sacrificing their ear drums, sanity, and a large lump of money for your kids! I can't honestly say I'd be able to do the same (when the time comes!).

OP- I hope you survived with only minor hearing loss and your DD had a blast!
