We are going to WDW in June this year and we have been looking through the new VA brochure recently and was wondering have ang one been on Exhibition Everest, wanting to know what it is like? Also if anybody is going in the Spring and tries the T-Rex restaurant that is opening in DTD could you put something on here, my BF likes the sound of it. As I haven't been before if anyone has anything that is / isn't worth doing the advice would be appreciated. As well as any other tips or pointers that you do when you go!

Thanks

love expidition everest!!! I would say its one of disneys biggest rides along with Rock and roller coaster.

You should def try it out

Expedition Everest is amazing, def one of the best rides in Orlando!

It's a runaway mine train type roller coaster.

I would definitely recommend sitting in the front row too......

Expedition Everest was the very first ride me and my GF went on when we visited last year, and when we got off we all won one of those YOAMD vip fast pass things! We were well happy! :cool1:

Anyway, the ride its self is excellent, and the theming is very cool! We went on it 3 times! :thumbsup2

Expedition Everest is cool. Me and my DD make a bee-line for it when we hit Animal Kingdom. No loops or upside down bits so some prefer it to other rides, such as Hulk or Duelling Dragons, but it is still pretty fast with a few surprises thrown in.

There have been a few people on here who have already been to T-Rex and wrote reviews on it so I am sure a quick search will bring something up.

As for suggestions of things that are, or are not, worth doing:
If you were to ask that question to each member on here you would get a different answer each time. The beauty of Florida is that is has something for everyone, and no-one likes everything (if that makes any sense) so I will tell you a couple of ours, although I am sure my 'must do' list will appear in someones 'no way' list.

Must Do
Old Town (All of us)
Bahama Breeze (DW)
Fantasmic (All)
Tower of Terror (Me+DD)
Test Track (DS)

No Way
Ci-Ci's Pizza
Gatorland
Dr Seuss (cat in the hat ride)

DD (10) absolutely loved EE :thumbsup2

After about the 14th or 15th ride I was beginning to take quite a shine to the Yetti.........:lovestruc

Its one of mine and DD favouirtes too, a must do for us.

Great ride:thumbsup2

We all loved EE on our last October trip.

Towards the end of our holiday ie the last week of October the parks were empty therefore allowing us to take advantage of no wait time and ride over and over again. Fantastic, my favorite by far :thumbsup2

We loved T-Rex Cafe also.

Be careful on what you order mind !!! DH ordered nachos as a starter and believe me it could have fed the 6 of us as a main course.:scared1:

I think the food is themed along the lines of Big Dinosaurs, even bigger Portions !!!! Lovely though :)

Everest is fab, just make sure you go there first as the queues can get quite long

Linz xxx :)

Expedition Everest is a Disney must do, brilliant themeing and a great ride.

My one tip would be not to try and do too much, pace yourselves and enjoy the parks.

EE is a fantastic ride. There was a documentary on the Discovery Channel about it not long after it had opened and the imagineers went to Nepal to check out the legend of the Yeti. Please take your time when walking through to the ride as the little details make it so realistic.

My DS was nearly 4 when we rode it, he was scared but afterwards asked to go on again :rotfl:
