Just wondering

I made up Welcome bags.

I'm going to pass them out at our welcome dinner. Some people drop them off at the hotels and have their guest get them when they check in.

I made welcome bags for my guests too. It wasn't a Disney wedding...

I included chocolate (from a local company), pretzels, fancy mustard for dipping pretzels (from local company...in Napa), sparkling water, postcards of the San Francisco Earthquake (we're from the bay area), a map of California Missions (we got married in a Mission), and mints.
My idea was that after traveling, they might want something salty or sweet to eat, and read a bit of local interest.

I Loved yours! Your whole wedding was amazing.

Thanks!
We dropped our welcome bags off at all of our guest's hotels. But, we did have an issue with some hotels forgetting to leave them in the guest's rooms. It's something we really had to follow up on.:sad2: ...some of our guests had to go down to the front desk and ask for their gift bag...:sad2:

we're planning on doing welcome bags, and some of the things we were thinking of are: travel size bottle of sunscreen, disposable camera, bottled water, little snack packs(pretzels, fruit snacks, etc.), nice soap( we got bigelow & co soaps at Bath and Body works for $0.50 each!), and itineraries for the wedding activities.

We were running out of ideas, and need help too!:thumbsup2

we dropped ours off t the hotels and had each bag labeled with the guests first and last name, check in date, hotel and if its possible place the reservation number on them. Then i also handed the cm a list with this information on it. Most of the cm's went ahead and placed a comment on the guests resevration in the computer stating that this guest had a nag waiting. For the most part it worked out, BUT a word of caution check up on this. Let your guests know that they are to expect a bag, we had about ahlf of our 80 guests not receieve anything, most asked for the bags and only then did the cm look for the bags. It went as far as the GF telling us they lost all of our bags! Perhaps this was because we were in teh peak summer season but regardless be prepared and check in to see if teh bags were delivered. Once they were - the guests loved them. They are a nice way to keep them informed and remind them of times.
