gift baskets and presents. This is my family's first trip to WDW, and I wanted to surprise my girls with gift baskets and a couple of presents that I am brining wih me. Will the resort (staying at POR) be able to put the gifts in the room if I give them to them, or do I just need to sneak up there before the girls get in there?

Well, CMs are supposed to see that gifts get sent to the rooms as requested, but it doesn't always happen. Just last week I had family visiting and staying at WL. The day of their arrival I took autograph books there for the children and asked that they be given to them at check in. Three days later I remembered to ask about the books and they hadn't received them. When they checked with the front desk, the books were indeed there. Three days of missed autographs. Sheesh.

So, anyway, I'd want to be certain that the gifts were received when I wanted them to be, so I wouldn'tleave it up to the front desk.
