Just won FREE tix to Disney

I wanted to shout it to the world and since I know that you guys "get it"....I just won FREE tickets to Disney.

We got two adult and two child 4 day Park Hoppers with Water Parks and more tix. I am thrilled. $1200, baby! How very, very nice. Now...what to do with the savings!?!

Congratulations!!! Be naughty and do tell!!! Just a suggestion, if I were you, once you get past the 4 days the cost to upgrade is minimal, so definantely upgrade to a 10 day non expiring. Just my opinion!

The website is Viator travel. If you google Viator Disney Giveaway, it is the first hit. I am not sure whether these can be upgraded. They are non-tranferrable and since they are a freebie, I don't know if I can upgrade. If so, I will go for it. Otherwise, 4 free days is wonderful!

Actually, due to some unique tax situations, the more tax due the better. (We have adoption tax credit that we are trying to eat up. The more tax due, the more refund we are eligible for. It is a weird situation, so for us it is no big thing. Our credit will expire before we use it all.) Thank you for the heads up, though.

I figured that they would need to 1099 us. Still free to me!

Actually, the value, including Sales Tax, is $1,331.25. It sounds to me as if these are actual MYW tickets; in that case they would be upgradable. When you get the actual tickets, look at them carefully. If they do not say COMP or COMPLIMENTARY on them, and if they do not have a validity date range, they are regular MYW tickets and can be upgraded.

I was actually hoping that Cheshire would comment. (I know that you have insight into the ticketing.) My only concern is that the website states that they are valid until 12/31/2010. It leads me to believe that they will have an expiration and are therefore not upgradeable. Oh well...FOUR FREE DAYS, baby! I am SO thankful!
