Just when you thought you've seen all the MAGIC! **See Page 95 for PTR!!!!**

Oh and Tim, I don't know if anyone has told you this yet but little boys like to pee up, kinda like a water fountain. And they will pee just as soon as the air hits their *****. My advice to you in order to avoid an extra "shower" is to have a washcloth handy to cover your son just as soon as you take that diaper off. Keep him covered until you need to wipe that area or are putting on the clean diaper. I always kept a stack of washcloths that I used only for that reason by the changing table. If you haven't experienced this with other baby boys, you will soon know what I'm talking about. ::yes::

God bless you, Mel, and Ana !

Hey Tim! Hope all goes well next week with the delivery. August 2nd is a wonderful day to be born on...it's Sis's birthday! And I agree with chloe770- hurry and get him covered back up when you're changing his diaper!! I learned the hard way! :)

And congrats to Ana...the big sis!!! :cutie:

So very, very true! Just ask my husband. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

I just hopped on here to tell you guys what was up but I see that was already taken care of... Thanks Kathy! :goodvibes:goodvibes

I'm taking Juliana swimming... she's been cooped up in the car all day. I'll be back tonight. :thumbsup2

Tim, I'll be thinking about all of you on Tuesday! We will be at DW but Kathy promised to keep me updated via text message.

Forget all that advice about not looking. DW had Matthew via C-section because he was also breach. The looking wasn't the bad part. Just don't breathe through your nose. The doctor used a cauterizing scalpel during the incisions and the smell of burning flesh was much worse than anything I saw. Every time I started seeing wisps of smoke I would breathe through my mouth instead. :thumbsup2

And as for the aim of little boys when changing diapers, I'm not sure why so many people would put their face that close to their work to get it in the face. None of the boys ever got me. Not sure if I was just that quick, or I just stayed arms distance out of the blast zone. DW and her sister, not so lucky! :rotfl2:

Tell Mel we love her and will be thinking of her that everything goes smoothly, and tell Princess Juliana we all know she is going to be the best big sister ever!!! princess:

The Minnie pic was done on Hollywood Blvd.... the same photographer that made us do the silly poses took the Minnie pic. :goodvibes

I'm so getting those pics done this year. Never had them done before and I want Simba, Stitch and Tink.. Minnie now as well :)

I just talked to Tim and he'll be on the DIS later.

Mel will have a c-section on Tuesday so baby boy will arrive on Tuesday, August 2.

Oooh so excited for you all. Hope it all goes well :wizard::wizard:pixiedust:

I had a c-section with DD also. The advice about getting up and moving is key. My nurses really encouraged getting up, moving around the room, or even walking the halls.

Both mine were c-sections and i COMPLETELY agree with this.

good luck!

All 3 of mine were c sections also. Danny was peeking over the sheet the whole time. With the last one I gave him strict instructions to make sure they tied some tight knots! He must have because there haven't been any more surprises in the last 18 years.:thumbsup2

So true this is KEY to recovery from any surgery, has been a long standing practise in England and now is in the US!!

Tim congrats for August 2nd and a Belated Happy Birthday Mel!!:banana:

Happy Belated Birthday Mel.

Happy birthday CM ( Christopher Michael right? ) Next Tuesday.

Sending :goodvibes on Tuesday for a safe easy delivery and take everyone's advice who has had a c- section. :thumbsup2

As for the diaper advice, believe it of not DD actually caused more problems in that area than DS. DD came first so I am thinking inexperience was at play here, but she not so much got me but made a mess a few times.

Wow, wow, oh wow!! Lot's of good news all around on here!!

The women couldn't be more right about all the wonderful advice given here, Mel is in good hands, I'm sure. And I'll be praying for y'all while the baby is being born.

I guess I better get my act in gear to get those things sent out to y'all. :goodvibes I've been taking my time thinking I had it to take, but as we all know, those babies come when they are darn good and ready and it's usually never on our time table.

Christopher Michael will be a truly blessed and healthy baby, and Mel's delivery will go smoothly. Hang tough and keep up on your sleep as much as possible. ::yes::
Oh! And think about taking Mel out this weekend....just the two of you. :lovestruc Might be a while before the two of you can get some time to yourselves again. :goodvibes

Oh, how exciting!! I am so very happy for you three (soon to be four!). I'm sure Mel will do great! Now we just have to worry about you!

Congratulations for having a date to meet your son!

I'm not sure what Juliana liked the most, taking the Subway.....

or making her dad do her Vanna White impression?

That made me laugh REALLY loudly! :lmao: LOVE the Vanna impression. I have done my fair share of those poses at Disney as well. :headache::laughing:

That cupcake is disturbing!!!! So strange! :rotfl:

Awesome TSMM shot. And the photoshoot is fantastic! The "super hero" ones are my favorite, but the magic shot with Minnie is adorable!!!!!

I just talked to Tim and he'll be on the DIS later.

Thank you Kathy for the update! You guys will be in my prayers! A C-Section isn't bad - and I second Dawn's advice, have Mel get up as soon as she can. I got up the next morning, very early, my legs were still a bit numb and my feet felt a bit like I was walking on balls, but, I walked a bit - and I continued to go from there, I had an AWESOME recovery. Hopefully the doctors give her a big elastic waistband thing, that helps a ton.

:rotfl: YES! I forgot about that! I can't count how many times we would forget and get sprayed. We always kept a mat on top of his changing table pad too-to soak it all up, just in case!

I hear that a baby boy is immenient! Pre-congratulations! Very exciting for you, Mel and Juliana. Hope all goes well with the delivery and surgery and that baby and mommy (and daddy and big sis!) recover smoothly!

Well it might be 4 months later (and I certainly can't talk as I'm on the 11 month plan) but it seems to me you did pretty good updating it. Mama Melrose looks really really yummy, I may have to put it back in as a consideration for the next trip. Whenever that is.

LOVE the TSM picture.

Both of my boys were planned c-sections. The best advice has already been given. Move around as much as possible. I will be praying for all of you.
