Just when I thought it was safe...

...it was all over the news today that a man got through security at O'Hare for a United flight with various weapons, such as knives and a taser. We are flying from ORD to MCO via United on the Weds. before Thanksgiving (ugh!!), and I was just starting to feel a little more reassured about airline safety (the previous news story about the man who accidentally brought a gun in his carry-on nonwithstanding, as that was not in Chicago). Here I am worrying about whether they will let me carry on my Disney pins, and a guy makes it through with a whole range of weaponry! Oh well, the good thing is I hope this will be an excuse to REALLY tighten up security here, but the bad thing is that it will probably take an hour to make it through (fine with me...I'd rather be safe).
