Alright guys i'm just thinking hypothetically. I'm staying at WDW resort for 14 nights. Of this honeymoon we always go to Universal/IOA for one day. I love getting the express pass but its only good for 1 use for each ride. Techinically the day I goto universal could I book 1 night at a universal resort and use two keys (one for me and one for the wife)? Just trying to make the most of our 1 day at the Studios. Please let me know if this wouldn't work. Another point the 2 park express pass is $59.99 multiply that by 2. I'm sure one night at a resort would equal out and I could use the room keys all day. Thanx in advance

Yes, you could book a room for one night with both you and your wife listed on the reservation. When you check in, even if the room is not ready yet, you will receive 2 room keys. The keys are good from the moment you check in to park closing the day you check out. So, if you book for 1 night and get there early enough, you will have 2 full days of FOTL.

Depending on when you're going, you may not need to worry with the EP at all. I wouldn't stay onsite just to get FOTL if you're coming during a historically slower period.

Well were not staying there persay....were just getting a room for the one day so we can get the room keys. Yeah we are going in the first week of feb. so it will be slower, but more than likely we will still even buy the express pass so I might as well book a universal resort.

express pass prices fluctuate...last night was slow <20 min wait for hulk, 15 for dragons> and a combo pass was 45 bucks
