Just wanted some opinions on this....

Had an auction end last sunday (nov. 2nd) and hadn't heard from the person even though i sent out an invioce so on thurs. the 6th i sent an email reminding her and being very polite. Still heard nothing until today sat. Nov. 8th i got an email from her saying that she would be paying via paypal on Nov. 14th!! That is another week away and almost 2 weeks after the auction ended!
I can't believe that.

On the one hand i am glad to at least hear from her but that seems like a long wait for responce with no apolagy and a long wait for payment that is coming via paypal. However, I must say that the item she bought was a relist of mine because the last time i had it listed the person who won never paid and i had to go through that whole process. So maybe i am just too anxious!? But I thought it was a bit much.

I've had similar experiences. I sure hope she follows through.
I had one person win 5 items one week and it took a couple weeks for her to pay. By the time she paid she was NARU'd. She paid via paypal, which I always appreciate vs. waiting for mail. She then won 3 more items in a week of auctions. She was kinda wierd in her emails - the reason she didn't pay quickly on the first batch was because she supposedly broke her ankle and had surgery. HOWEVER, during the time she was supposedly in the hospital she was still bidding (and according to her feedback paying) like crazy. I think she got like 300 positive feedbacks in the space of 2 weeks. Anyway, I ended up emailing and emailing her on the second batch. She sent an echeck which bounced. Then she said she would pay via paypal the next week. I sent her another email back and got a response back saying she had died. And that she was not a she but was a he. yikers. I actually think she/he is probably still around ebay somewhere, considering he/she was NARU'd. He/she had spent thousands and thousands of dollars on minks, wigs, clothes, shoes. Racked up those credit card bills!

i am sooooo stupid! this was supposed to be under the ebay thread! i must have hit the wrong button. Not my brightest moment:rolleyes:

Dont feel bad about the thread it happens to all of us at one time or another. Most of my bidders have been pretty good about paying but I did have one lady take kind of a long time. She said the "lost"the money order and had to get another. Sounded kind of shady until I rec'd 2 payments from her, lol. I did let her know and she ended up just taking 2 ofthe same items so it ended well.
You might want to try the second chance auction where you cna off the same item or one just like it to any of the other bidders from that auction. Of course you would want to send the invite to next highest bidder. Im sure you auction had a timeframe in which you required payment and the bidders should go by that.
