We were heading down 12/5-12/7 to stay a few days at the BCV just before our Western DC on 12/14....ALL of a sudden our nephew is getting married in Orlando on 11/24...OH NO how can I justify two PLANE TRIPS WITHIN 1 WEEK OF EACH OTHER...called member services right away but lo and behold there was NO NO AVAILIBILTY and I am quoting " don't think you will have much luck getting the room as that's when they hold their DVC meetings..kept calling, went on a waitlist tried not to bite my nails all the way down..had to book the airfare as SW opened and I thought with that being the weekend after Thanksgiving seats may go fast..had to clear it with work to have the extra days off now the room has to come thru..call one morning to see if anything has changed and I get the infamous Garth on the phone tell him my plight and guess what he comes up with 3 of the 5 nights..tells me that I wasn't even on the waitlist for the 30th which is the DAY OF THE WEDDING!!secures me a 1 bdr at OKW for that nite and books the 2nd,and the 3rd which leaves the nite of the 1st and 4th open...i say thank you so much and wish all my calls to member services could be answered by Garth not only for getting the rooms but for being so darn friendly and NICE...Member service is very lucky to have him and I will be e-mailing them to tell them just this..nowltes all get some serious pixie dust to fall on me for the remainder of our visit(saga)..Marianne..ps by the way hubbys tests all turned out OK... 
I use to get him a lot. Oh well, now that he's "infamous," he must be in high demand!
