I have been lurking here for a while soaking in all the great info. I found I never had to ask a question because somewhere it had already been answered.
We just returned from a long weekend combined with my daughter's cheer competition. Because we would not be getting our hoppers till we arrived nor did we know the final team schedule until right before we left, it was very difficult to do any pre-planning. With some of the horror stories I have read about it being absolutely mandatory to have every detail planned months in advance, I was worried we would be stuck riding It's A Small World all day while slowly starving.
With all the tips I read here and the DISboards search function up on my phone in case I forgot something along with the My Disney Experience app, we had a great time. I scanned our hoppers into the app the day we got there and was able to get great dining reservations and fast passes for all the rides we wanted to ride. Using all the other tips learned here we rode and saw everything we wanted to within a very tight timeframe. With a little flexibility and the knowledge from all you great experts, it is possible to do a fantastic trip with very little time to plan.
