Just Want To Vent

Here I am sitting home all by myself. I just said goodbye to my parents and my two little brothers. They are on their way to WDW! I am so sad. This is the first year that I am not going with them. I have been going every year since 2002. Plus a few years before that. But unfortunately my DF and I just can't afford it this year. I am going for a short trip with my mom, gmom, and aunts in November, but it won't be the same. I love going this time of the year and just having a good time with the family. I really can't believe how upset I am that I'm not going. Well, I just wanted to vent. Thanks for listening.

You came to the right place for empathy!

I remember a couple of years ago my parents went alone - they were afraid to even tell me for fear I'd break down and cry! LOL! I did try to guilt them, naturally, that they would not only scar their adult son for life, but also their grandchildren! But I do remember feeling sad when they were there and we were all at home at work/school!

Keep focusing on the next time - there is always a next time!!

For the present moment - live on memories and think of the future trips. Hopefully, that will get you through.
