Just want to rant about Virgin!!!

Sorry will just have to sound off about Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Holidays :furious: Trying to get my locator number is like trying to break into the Bank of England. I can't remember having this much trouble in previous years. After numerous phone calls to people, that i am very sorry to say, i cannot understand hardly a word that they are saying i have finally been told that my number will be released next Wednesday (this is having first been told 9th November, then the 15th November and even the 30th October!!)

Therefore next Wednesday i will have to go through all the phone calls, booking number etc all over again!!

Remind me to think twice next year about booking with Virgin........I feel much better now :thumbsup2
 
It's not just Virgin it is a general thing anywhere these days, we have had frequent pc problems of late but trying to have a decent conversation and explain the problem is virtually impossible - these call centres may save the companies a few £ but the customers don't half suffer.

The wednesday after the 336 from return date i just logged on the Virgin Atlantic Update booking section using my Virgin Holidays reference, the one ending S07 - worked fine :cool1:

Hope this helps and you don't need to go through the phone calls again!

Send them an e-mail, I emailed customer services at Virgin Holidays (see their website) and they got back to me within 48 hours

I've had to email them for more luggage labels this week (the whole family only got 4) and was very impressed as they did send them right away (I emailed them on Monday and they arrived on Wednesday) but if they had just sent a couple more in the first place it would've saved them envelopes, postage and somebody to do them for me. They seem to have got really mean on some of the silliest little things lately :confused3

It won't work for me with just our booking ref. number - but i will try it on Wednesday with just that. :thumbsup2
 
don't know if you're in the frequent virgin club, but if you are speak to them direct, they resolved our recent problem, with no communication problem, unlike the call centre abroad, which leave you on hold for ages while they go away and ask someone else the answer to your question.

Good luck, it should do ~ I kept putting my ref. in with no luck until I found on a thread on here :disrocks: :thanks: that they update on a Wednesday. Once Wednesday came it worked! :thumbsup2
 
Thanks for all your replies :thumbsup2 Its great, once in a while, to have a good old moan! I will try the frequent virgin club number if i don't get any joy on Wednesday :wave:
 
If any one has any promblems and they do not want to talk to them on the Indian call center try this number - 01293562345 this is the virgin uk call center number hope this helps .
 
We tried that number the other day and got transfered to India :furious: :furious: Don't know if Virgin are getting wise to the fact that people are trying to bypass the call centre
 
I sent them an e-mail complete with booking numbers from the travel agents. Virgin claim they cannot find our booking and to check with the TA :confused3 . Feel a right prat asking if they've booked our holiday! So e-mailed virgin back saying the same number was on all my documentation. Ends up I've got to go to the TA on Monday (they've been closed due to re-fit) to check the numbers after all. I'm going to be strong and demand the TA's ring Virgin, I'm not prepared to speak to someone abroad who cannot understand my requests.
