Just trying something out

Hi

Hope you don't mind but I'm just trying to load an old photo to make sure that I can load new photos in anticipation of my forthcoming trip

I'll be taking my iPad and was unsure of how to get photobucket to work as iPads don't have have flash but hopefully now I've installed the app it will work like a dream

I'm feeling inspired by all the great trip reports and think I might feel the need to make a couple of posts myself

Yes, it worked. I'm not sure if you're aware but there is a Test Board here on the DIS where you can try out posting pictures and other things

Yeah getting really excited - and there's only three weeks till we get there. We have 12 days travelling round a bit then 2 weeks at Disney. So it will be a while before I have any Disney posts to add

Where are you staying ??

We are flying to Miami with Virgin on Monday 6th August but as we are planning to go to heathrow on Sunday the 5th I'm counting it that it's exactly 3 weeks till we go I hate flying so can't wait to get that bit over

The first night we are staying at the Sofitel near Miami airport - somewhere easy to crash with a pool for dd where we can rest and recover without worrying that we have a long way to go and we are all tired and grumpy after 9.5 hours on plane

The next day we are driving down to Key West and spending 3 nights there, we have booked a hotel right on the beachfront in the old town . So we can play at being hippies for a while and clap the sunset

After Key West we are driving up the coast to Vero Beach and staying at Disney Vero beach for 7 nights. We have stayed there before and loved the relaxed atmosphere and all the activities that were available for dd.

Next we are driving up to Orlando and staying 1 night at the Holiday Inn Lake Buena Vista (Vero beach was a Friday check in and our first Disney hotel is a Saturday so we needed to stay somewhere for one night - we thought that would be a good location as we can either go to DTD or Crossroads for dinner)

We then check into VWL or 1 week then BLT for 1 week then home.

We have timeshares through RCI and use them to swap into DVC properties. We have added the dining plan for the last two weeks. I know that a lot of DVC members don't think it's worth adding it but we like the flexibility it gives and also it's nice to know that a lot of our food will be paid for before we get there.
