Just tried to make Mock danish...came out like scrambled eggs!

What the heck did I do wrong? 2 oz. of Cream cheese, about 1/2 egg, vanilla and splenda..
Microwave for 1 min. & 30 sec.
Came out all crumbly like scrambled eggs...it was awful.
Am I doing something wrong?
 
Here's a link to the recipe I use. You'll notice that it uses a whole egg, not half. And, make sure you soften your cream cheese before using it.

I made this for the first time this morning as well. It was a little eggy - I think next time I will only cook it for 2 minutes instead of 2 1/2. Also, I whisked the mixture together which may have added to the scrambled egg-like consistency. I didn't have the lemon juice, maybe that will make it better next time. I may even fool with adding more cream cheese.

It was still good though, and a much welcome departure from eggs, eggs, eggs.
 
I usually make it at least once a week. I think you definitely have to use a whole egg and make sure you soften the cream cheeses. Don't overcook it. I've added Atkins raspberry syrup or almond extract instead of the lemon for a bit of variety.
 

Karen, the Raspberry syrup sounds wonderful! I will have to try that next time! :)
