Just Tried Photo Pass!!!

After getting back from a Nov 7-14 trip to WDW, I heard about Photo Pass from these boards (and not the CM's during the trip - but that's another issue).

Anyway, here is the site: Photo Pass

It is finally up and running! I have five photo pass cards from the trip (like I said - no one told us how they were to be used). I was able to enter all five ID numbers and view the photos!

This website is fantasic. You can rotate, add borders, etc. to the photos. I think this is a great move for WDW!!!

Note: Photos are only stored online for 60 days after you enter the card onto the website.

Is this the photo they take at park entrance or the pictures they take on rides and character meets or all of the above? Can you share the pics?

Photopass is for any picture taken by a Disney photographer. Park entrances, near the Tree of Life at AK, character photos. Ride photos are NOT included in the photopass system. (at least, not yet)

Ahh that's too bad as ride photos are the one time I would use it and likely make a purchase I otherwise would not. I always think the ride photo is just ok and that we will re-ride later and get a better photo and we either don't re-ride or don't get a better photo. If I had a "photopass" for all our photos and could make a decision at home rather then in the moment I know I would buy more. The stress of picking, waiting in line and the $$ we are spending just makes me say no. That and waiting to see how many good pictures we have from the personal camera.

Thanks for posting. I had been trying to find out how long you had to view them. Now I know I can wait till after we return to view and make a decision. I also like the option of adding borders, etc.

We didn't ever take the time to look at our pics there, but I saw this post and thought I'd try to pull our up from our trip in OCT(24-31) and they worked! The sad part is that I only have one photocard left from all our days there. We didn't carry one with us, so I had several.
The good thing is that the pictures I took were better than the ones I pulled up, so I just have to hope that ALL of mine were better
I did love seeing them though!

They can search for photos for you if you don't have the card. They'll ask what day, time of day, the location, "who" was in the photo, and anything else to distinguish the photo. So, if you can remember that information, you may be in luck!

Do they mail you your photos if you purchase them at home or do you have to print them out yourself?

We were there Nov 20-24 and I just entered in the photopass I got and it said images not avialable. There were 3 boxes that said that, and that was the number of photos taken, so I don't know if just the site is down or that they aren't ever going to be available.

If you purchase photos from the site, I am assuming they print and mail them. I don't know about shipping charges, as I have not purchased any yet. They do have the 5x7 "on sale" right now for $9.95.

You can also enter in email addresses to send people a link to your photos. I think that is a great feature.
