Hi - Wanted to share a quick nice moment.
Having booked our flights and villa for next year we wanted to tell the kids about the trip but to try and make the occasion a bit special.
We had a family shopping trip planned to Leeds with a overnight stay to celebrate one of the girls birthday's. So we contacted the Leeds White Rose Disney store to ask if they still had the "we're going to Disney" DVDs - which they don't.
But a wonderful cast member named Mia said she would still like to help make the occasion happen.
On Monday morning, this week, we arrived at the store and whilst looking around Mia asked the three girls if they would take part in a survey. Having asked them about the shopping habits and if they had visited the parks before and about their favorite characters she presented them with an envelope.
When Naomi (DN3) opened the envelope she read out a letter from Mickey saying how much he was looking forward to seeing them next year when they visited WDW with their parents and auntie and uncle (me).
Mia also gave the three girls Disney badges and stickers free of charge - it was a very exciting and slightly emotional way of breaking the good news.
Thank you Mia, thank you the Disney store at Leeds and now all 7 of us cannot wait for August 2012!!!
