Just to add more confusion to all the PIN code discussion

I also thought about Yacht & Baech just to try something new but the only thing that came up was concierge :sad2: When day did you book and what room category did you get. If you got standard or water view than I might try to switch to Yacht club. We love beaches & Cream and want to try SAB. Thanks.:)

I booked 1/24 in the am. I got eight nights starting on 8/31 in a standard view. I added the dining plan and one day base tickets. (we have AP's)
I saved over $1100:banana: Even if free dining comes out, this saves me $500 more:banana:

I'm so excited about SAB!!!!

Even if you are not able to get the YC/BC you still have the monorail. That's pretty awesome!

You can only use one discount, which ever one is better...:confused3

It is absolutely killing me that I can't use this code! It is the first time I have ever received one ( I got the Mickey Ears 40% off) and I can't work it out with flights, school vacations, etc. The main problem is that we already have another family trip planned for next year- and now I'm trying to squeeze this one in.... after spending a few hours on the computer trying to save money by spending money- I realized how fantastic their marketing really is!
:scared:

This is how I feel. I was adamant about not going back this year, but somehow I just ended up booking 8 nights at the Poly, so even though I am saving almost $1200, I am still spending $3400 that I wasn't going to spend.:confused3

Well, I didn't upgrade or anything. In fact, I just cancelled the reservation for a trip we had. I was going to change the dates to the new ones (move it back by just a few days) but unfortunately the 2nd time I called to see about it they said I was not eligible for it. 1st time I called - I was but needed to make sure we could move around vacation time.

I was going to have to pay 500+ more to stay 1 day less to keep my original reservation date. I figured well, this just proves to me that something better will either come along that I am eligible or we just don't need to do Disney right now without the discount. New ressie would have been for 5 nights instead of 4 nights.

We were able to save $1330 dollars on our Sept 9 night Poly trip so I know what you mean. The 40% off did figure in to us staying two extra nights, but so did the fact that the park tickets were only $4 more per person for the two extra days as well.

would it be possible to pm me the code? please.....:confused3

The code that many of us have gotten is a PIN code via e-mail or postcard that is associated with our names. Only the person on the e-mail or postcard can use that code.

I booked with the three letter code for AS with one day ticket and DDP for 10 nights in Sept, for 1649. I asked the CM several times if there was a pin attached to this code, and he said no. After crunching the numbers, I have noticed that this is actually, as others have said, 40% off the AS room, and full price on the tickets and dining plan. We have APs. I think we could definetly eat for less than 1094, which is the one day ticket and DP portion of the total cost. Am I able to drop the tickets and DP, and keep the room discount, or is the three letter code just for a pkg?

I tried adding the code to my package today and was told it was a pin code and I was not eligible for it... :confused3

I just booked using the code! I'm very thrilled! I wanted to stay at movies or pop but the only thing that they had was sports but for the price I didn't care! May 31-June 6th 2 rooms, tix, dinning for 2760$! :) made my day! and if all is said and done and i have to pay full price... its fine with me. This will just be a little bit of Magic if I do get the discount.

Darn I also booked first thing in the morning on the @4th but for our datse it was sold out. DH really wanted to try Yacht club, since we went to Poly last year. We love the Poly but just wanted to try the Epcot area. I will keep checking if it opens up. otherwise at least I'm close to MK. Thanks for posting.

Out of curiosity, does this deal require a certain amount of nights, i.e. 6 night stay? I'm going to call again to find out if there is a pin under our name (since I have a friend who didn't have one two days ago, but this morning she called and was told she had a pin). But I wanted to find out if there was a minimum number of nights. We're interested in AKL, but would only be staying for 4 nights if we did a deluxe.

Ok I called....
tried 4 nights at AKL, 5 day PH with DDP for 9/19-9/23 (and said our dates were flexible). Standard room was not available, which really bumped up the price...but she didn't offer to check when standard would be available even though we said the dates were flexible. So we looked at a Savannah room which was the cheapest of the three room options available. Total package came to $2120.76. I asked if we were eligible for any discounts...she reported that there are never any discounts for package deals, and not willing to check on a pin code for me.

I just went to the website to make sure it was the same price quote...it is. But when I looked online, I discovered that I could book a standard room for the dates I mentioned. :confused3

That is true, nice to see maybe some of the CM's got the memo. Sorry you couldn't benefit from the code like some. But the code is supposed to be used by CM's when they are upselling the 40% room only discount pin offer(postcards and emails, household specific) to a package with tickets and dining.
Unfortunately, it seems some CM's are misinformed and giving the discount when people call in using the code. Obviously not a public code or it would be on the Dis page, and Mousesavers etc....

CALL BACK! There are plenty of great, helpful CM's out there. I talked to about 4 today. Call again and get someone else. Good Luck!

Can you tell me how they are "giving" the codes? Everyone CM I spoke to today put the code in and said " ok, what dates" after they confirmed who I was and at what address? I know I am eligible for the Upsell code because I have a PIN and I have THE CODE! But those magical things won't help me book anything in APril or May with a discount so basically, I can't go when I want. So are you saying some of the CM's are putting in a code and then entering the person's information? I am confused? It didn't sound like to me that they can work around the system. And I had one wonderful CM who did indeed tell me she could use THE CODE to give me an upsell for My May dates even though they weren't in the promotion dates. OF course, when she quoted everything out with those dates it was the same as the internet. I called back and said, "whats the deal" and the new CM I had said "lets see". He then said ok you can have the code, but we can't apply it to this reservation so we have to start over. So we started over and got the same thing! UGH! I get my hopes up and then crash!
