::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo Ok, this is my first attempt at a TR, so please bear with me. There is just the 2 of us going (DH and myself::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo ). We stayed in a studio room at Boardwalk from April 21st to the 27th. We are both totally obsessed with Disney.

Things started to get hectic around here on the 19th. I had to work until 7 that night, then take the dog:dog2: to my mom’s. Taking the dog to my mom’s is not always an easy task. DH could not come with me, so I had to take the dog all by myself. She is a bit crazy in the ca:crazy: r, and it is about 45 minutes to my mom’s. So, I got that all taken care of to make it home at about 9:45 (and I missed Grey’s Anatomy). Clothes are still not even remotely close to being packed.

Friday, the 20th, we both worked until about 4 pm. When we got home, we went to a couple stores to get the last minute things we needed. Then we decided we might want to start packing at about 8 pm that night. Luckily, we do not have any children to worry about, only ourselves. Did I tell you, we had to be at about 4 am the next morning to get to the airport and make our flight? We packed 24 bottles of water, and granola bars and fruit snacks and individual cereals. (That was a great idea). So, we finished packing and were ready to go to sleep at around 10:30. Did I mention I really like my sleep?

So, 4am rolls around, and I really did not want to get up, but knew I was on my way to WDW! I was so excited. :cool1: We got to the airport around 5:30 am, after a small detour off the expressway:car: and back on. Our 7 am flight went smoothly, and we were on the ME after about 5 minutes of waiting. I called my friend, who works at MGM studios and let him know we were there. We got to the Boardwalk at around 10:30 am, and guess what? Our room was ready. pixiedust: That made our day, as DH and I were not expecting that. So we went upstairs to our room. We were on the wait list for a Boardwalk view, but did not get that. We did have an awesome view of the pool, and we could see the TOT at MGM from our balcony though.

Let me take a moment to gush about DVC. We went on a tour while we were there last May. At that moment, we just could not buy into it. Well, in September, DH and I were getting the itch to go back. You know that itch, right? Well, behind my back, DH, being the great guy he is  , started talking to Todd, our representative we talked to on the tour in May. We bought points, and took our MIL and SIL with us in December, and stayed at SSR. We would not be able to stay at these places at this time in our lives, our even go on these trips if it was not for DVC. Love it.

When we got up to the room, we, or should I say I, was ecstatic to find a cute bunny towel animal. In my 3 previous on property trips, I never once got a towel animal, including on my honeymoon. I squealed with delight.

Isn’t he cute? He is now in my bathroom at home. So, we freshened up the best we could without our luggage and walked around and explored the resort a little bit.

Up next: Epcot and MK.

I tried to see if you made a mistake posting your pictures, but you brought them in from Photo-bucket. I make the mistake by copying http://twice and that gives the red crosses.

What was your room number. I really want to see your pictures of the BWI.
